Best stays I've used.
I was in NJROTC in High School, and constantly wore the "classic" 4 band stays when I had my uniform on. I am now a cop, and still want my uniform to be squared away so I wear them at work. In High school and now, the classic bands would constantly slip off the shirt or the socks.I purchased these and have been using them for about a month. They work great! It seemed like the old ones would come off of my socks more often than the shirt. No more of that! And even though the exact same device is on the shirt as the old ones, they haven't popped from there either. I haven't experienced any discomfort and they are adjustable so you tighten or extend them as needed. For reference, I am 5'10 and have them extended all the way and think that on a taller person they may dig into the feet more or be so tight they would pop off.My only complaint is in the actual design of the product. When I was using 4 of the bands, I would wind them around my leg once (may be why they popped so often!) so they would not be noticeable through my pants. With these, that is not possible due to it being one stay per leg. If I were to twist these, it would show in my shirt's position. Being unable to do this creates a "magic floating" section of pants leg along the seam. Minor quibble. The material seems very thin, and I expect them to tear or fray within 6 months, but they work so well I will purchase another pair.

Worked for a few months
Pros: Stirrup style made it easier to put on in the mornings. Best to attach them to a shirt while it's hanging up then put the whole kit on.Long enough (BARELY) for my 34" inseam.Doesn't set off standard metal detectors at TSA.Cons: DOES set off the full-body scan and the wand detector. Had to explain to TSA worker during pat down that I was wearing what is essentially a garter.Rubber grommet tab prone to failure (one tore at the base), but even if you lose one the piece isn't a total loss. Can come loose during sitting/standing, just in an office setting. Failure means I'm walking down the hallway and a black strap snakes out the leg of my pants. Again, left to explain to management why there was a garter coming out of my pants leg.Sitting down with your pants at your ankles presents some interesting geometry problems. These are cheap, and I'm upgrading to a different set with brass clips that have pins to hold them in place. If you're not a uniformed professional and you're not sure if something like this will improve the lines of your shirt, they're a good "starter" set, being cheap and comfortable and easy to use. I could see where some office workers like myself don't want to hassle with putting them on each day or couldn't get used to the feeling of straps coming down your legs. For me, those minor inconveniences are well worth the always-tucked shirts. If they can make my $30 VanHeusen shirt look tailored, my nicer Gitman & Gold or Brook's Brothers shirts look even better.

Serves its purpose
This is the best shirt stay I have had so far. It is much better than the one that attaches to your socks. It keeps my shirt in place all day even with constant movement of sitting down and standing. There are some things to keep in mind when buying these. One thing is that you will have to put on your socks, pants, then shoes last. I always liked to put on these first when getting dressed.Another thing to keep in mind is that when going to the bathroom for #2 it takes a little longer to get in position because you have to unlock the four clips of the shirt stay from your shirt. When you go on to put on your uniform again, you have to attach the four clips again. And if you have a duty belt you can see how all of these things can contribute to more time. However, these really are minor things and in the end it is really worth it to have these shirt stays. No need to tuck in your shirt all day. You will always look sharp!

Good for what they are designed to do.
It has been more than 20 years, since being in uniform so when faced with the fact of trying to look squared away again I looked up shirt stays. This was the easiest way to kept a shirt tucked in and not feel like I was suffering from OCD, constantly checking my shirt. I used the 4 separate straps in the military but decided to try the stirrup style, this time around. I find that if one of the latches does come loose, you still have another attached and you don't have to deal with a strap falling out of your pant leg. My one negative comment would be about the latches. I don't remember if what I had before was built differently, but it can be difficult to get it to hook on to the shirt, and if you have to reattache it while wearing the shirt, good luck.

Clips lose their "grip" over time.
These stays worked great for a few months. I had no problems. Then, the clips would start to fall off during the day. After some fiddling with pliers, I was able to fix them.. for a while. Then they started to fall off during the day. They didn't work with very thin shirts very well, as the shirt would slip out, but they didn't work with thick shirts either as you couldn't close the "clip" very easily. I probably used them for 4-5 months before I gave up and bought "better" shirt stays. Unlike what other reviews have said, I had no trouble with the length and my 32 inch inseam.I can attest to these stays setting off the "hard object scanners/full body scanners" at the airport. One time I went through just fine with no problems, another they stopped me and I told them I was wearing shirt stays. They had no problem with that.In conclusion, I would not recommend these to someone else who intends these for daily use. I would tell them to spend a few more dollars and get better shirt stays.

great product for the price.
These are great but the fasteners will give out over time. So you'll have to replace them every say 3 months if you wear it 5 days a week. They work as expected keeping my shirt tucked down all day long.

Great idea but needs attention to details.
Great idea but the details need to be refined. The workmanship was poor as the stitching on BOTH the foot stirrups unravelled DURING an event which necessitated repairs afterwards. The part that fastens to the shirt also keeps slipping out and at another event left one stay dangling out one pant leg; not impressed.
