Highly recommend if you need a sturdy yet lightweight fiberglass cloth mesh tape. It's of very good quality, strong but not too heavy. Worked perfectly for repairing a cracked plastic dash panel in my car. Easy to cut, edges prevent unraveling, and it saturated well with slow-cure epoxy. The repair turned out great, couldn't be happier.

Nice for strengthening inside corners of fiberglass builds. Easy to use. Wet the surface with resin, lay the tape on top and wet again with a chip brush and resin.

When used with fiberglass resin, this became very solid and durable

Nothing is “wrong” with this tape. I give it middle of the road ratings for the following:The good:- Easy to store- Easy to roll out- Seamed edges so no fiber strings when applying.The bad:- Due to the tight fibers, does not wet out well.- Due to the wet out issue, tended to not fully adhere leaving epoxy bubbles needing sanded.- The good of the seamed edges during application becomes a feather sanding of the edge once dry.Conclusion:- Good for patches you will paint- Good for seams you will paint- Do not use if you want a clear see-thru finishJust my opinion based on my use.

I am using this product to reinforce the structural connections of a large Wicker love seat. I am using it with fiberglass resin, and it is performing beautifully. After the joint repairs are complete, it will be much easier to re-weave the damaged rounds and re-cover the strengthened joints with new flats.The fiberglass cloth tape and resin will insure the structural integrity of the piece and insure that the detail work is not wasted on an unstable piece of outdoor furniture. I don't just want to look at it, I want to sit on it.
