Contemporary Jewelry in Perspective Hardcover – September 3, 2013

I love this book!! I bought my copy after a few friends recommended it. The essays are thought provoking and address a wide range of ideas that are circling the jewelry world right now (namely art jewelry). I find the writing is more open and fair-minded than judgmental, which is a breath of fresh air coming from other texts

I had been salivating over this book since first seeing it at the Tampa Museum of Art. If you are looking for more than photographs, and want more context for your inspiration, this book is perfect.

This book goes deeper into the discussion of what jewelry means now and through the past. I'm still devouring the contents, I highly recommend this book. Has a great range of writers and contributors.

This is one of the best books in print on this subject and should be on the shelf of every serious lover of jewelry as an art form!

wonderful look at the modern history of jewelry making. Good illustrations and well written commentary on the modern jewelry scene.
