Ortho Heal Pneumatic Daytime Brace for Plantar Fasciitis, Heel Pain Relief, and Achilles Tendonitis Support (Large)

After reading reviews I decided to give it a try and it's been a huge help for me as the daytime aid when paired with my night splint. I have flare-ups from time to time and have accumulated quite a variety of foot supports. This one is thin enough it doesn't interfere with my shoes and the small air bladder has thus far held up, a little pricey for what it is but I don't regret getting it. I have wide size 11 feet but the Medium (to my surprise) has not been overly constricting and is a good fit.**Updated to say that after a couple weeks of sporadic use it has both had the lower bladder deflate and the upper ankle supports (rigid plastic) are now starting to have their corners poking out through the fabric. Good design, shoddy materials.

Has really helped my 11yr old active son (who plays dual sports 🏀⚽️) cope w/ severe rear heel pain due to his open heel plates which dr says will close late in teen Yrs. He said pain is less intense & goes away faster. I definitely see less limping! Soo happy about that!!Update: they deflate very quicklyand the company's customer service was excellent! They gave us 2 replacements, However they deflated in couple weeks also. Fortunately, my son continued using them & his heel pain has now diminished to none existent!!! This has allowed him to play at 100%. So 5 stars for customer service & reduction of pain, but 3 star for air pocket longevity. Avg of 4 stars.

It helps. Really, it does. But perhaps my need is too great, my expectations are too high. I chose to purchase this after speaking with another nurse (coworker) who also has plantar fasciitis, and she swears by it. That made me very hopeful.The provider got it to me quickly, and I have no complaint with them. It's just that this is okay, and only okay.Maybe I also need to change my shoes. I use orthotics as well, and they also helped somewhat. I may wind up modifying this review later, when the shoes that I ordered arrive and I am using all that is legitimate while I wait on getting an appointment after four years without health insurance. Things probably have changed.Until then?Meh.

Good news = heel pain started recently and I got this immediately as my first therapy, (along with gel inserts for shoes). It feels great throughout the day and I don't want to take it off at bed time. Fits easily inside tight sneakers. The comfort & support feel very good and soothing for the pain.Bad news = the velcro ankle strap that holds is in place was not designed well, so it keeps rising and coming undone after a little use. I am constantly redoing the strap closure. Now I have to add some velcro to the strap and the ankle area so it stays in place and secure.

This was a great temporary solution if having mid to severe issues. It is slightly uncomfortable but for me I found it less annoying than the actual issue so I give it four stars. I wore it pretty much non stop while exercising and working (on my feet majority of the day) and it held up for about 1.5-2 month before the cushions started to deflate slightly. Would recommend it for random bouts or as a stop gap measure while seeking a permanent solution.

The padding was great and helped eliminate a lot of the pain but because of the slight height difference it eventually started making my hip on the other side hurt.

I work standing on concrete all day for several years as a result I have planters facilities. My pain is mostly in my heel from nerve pain . I’ve seen several foot doctors over the years and have a collection of foot boots, braces,inserts and shots. I Was looking for something that could releave pressure off the heel area and decided to try the ortho brace. I worn it for just a day and felt results . The pain was less noticeable . The horseshoes cushion could use a little more at the ends. But the product works I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has heel pain to try it . I am definitely going to buy this product again

The brace works quite well. I wear it all day, while playing golf, etc. My heel pain has vanished, and my ankle/top of foot pain is much more manageable. On the whole, I recommend it highly. I have 2 issues the company should address: 1) the neoprene heel cup starts to tear with daily usage, and 2) the velcro ankle strap needs belt loops to keep the strap from slipping off the top and essentially just wrapping around my lower leg.
