1986 Tour de France DVD
I enjoy watching these old Tour de France videos when I am on my indoor trainer. The 1986 race is a classic. The quality of the DVD exceeds that of my original VHS version. This is a must have for Tour de France fans.

Waste of Money
I got hooked on the Tour in 2003 and even tried to bike up Alpe d'Huez in 2011. I was looking forward to watching the drama of Greg LoMond's first victory in 1986 unfold. Instead I got a slapped together set of snippets that barely showed the day to day progression. This needed to be at least 2 hours without the wasted space such as descriptions of the five (now four) Jersey's. I don't hold the poor video quality against the producers given the state of the technology in that year but they could have tried harder to improve it.I would still like to get a feel for the 1986 Tour and hopefully I can find a written description of it
