I bought this transmitter to play music from either a memory stick or micro sd card. The important thing is that I want to play the tracks (mp3) in a random order (shuffle). It only has a limited capability to do this and will eventually lapse into playing the same stuff I heard 10 minutes ago. I have tried a quality stick and micro sd card, approx 500 individual mp3 tracks, and the results are the same. I will add more as time goes on and would expect not to hear the same tracks more than once until the whole lot has played through. I now use it on non shuffle and the tracks do play in alphabetical order. This takes away the randomness that I really wanted. In contrast I have used a similar system which was built into the sound system on a SKODA SUPERB and SKODA OCTAVIA both with no problem at all, just endless random tracks. Unfortunately the works van doesn't have this system so I bought this transmitter instead.I have no idea about the other functions as I only use it to play mp3 tracks.I was going to return it as faulty but have resigned myself to accepting the way it is, it's still a good alternative to Steve Wright (pass me the bucket!!).

Easy to set up, took me 2 minutes to start listening to the music. I immediately noticed that there is repeating pattern of clicking and chirping noise in a background whenever music gets quiet. I find it annoying but could just about live with it. But my main gripe is with the plug - it is too loose and keeps popping out frequently and losing power. And of course music gets interrupted, the player on the phone needs un-pausing again and again. I find it too dangerous to do it while driving. So I end up having to stop 2 minutes into the first track to restart the music and then another couple of minutes later the same thing happens again! Very frustrating indeed.I was hoping this could also double up as a phone charger and DVR power as it is replacing dual USB port charger which was perfect for size and would never pop out like that. Obviously this plug is not suitable for that either.Maybe it would work better in another car where power socket is slightly tighter or vertical orientation. In my case it does not work unfortunately.

I have purchased several of these types of transmitters for friends and family and in general they are all good. This one is in line with all the others and has a good clear and easy to read display. The controls are easy to use and it all works as it should.The sound is clear and connection is easy.The remote is handy but not essential as in most cars the cigarette lighter is within arms reach so it’s just as easy to physically touch the transmitter rather than using the remote.Worth buying and you won’t be disappointed.

It worked well but one of the usb ports has stopped working so have had to get a new differnt one as i need all ports to work

Please reinforce the plug. Mine broke while removing from the cigarette lighter socket

Sound quality was awesome. The vent strap was good but none of that matters as every time I went over a bumpy road the spring on the bottom of the cigarette lighter insert would disconnect the device. That's if you can get it come on at all. You'll spend 10 minutes before leaving the drive trying to get thing to come on to begin with. It's definitely not my car as I've since bought another one that works perfectly

Finally a no static noise mp3 player.It just plays music with no other background noises and great sound on it.It comes with 2 charging ports and it connects to my phone everytime I connect my car which is a nice touch.

This is great for anyone who wants to play music from your phone. You do not an aux lead.Put it in the cigarette charger and set the radio frequency. It’s very simple! Even comes with a remote so someone else can change the tracks.
