Sure, you can use them for dancing, but they are AMAZING as wind pants for hiking.Now, if you are hiking in scrub or very thorny stuff they will shred but for open trails, say hello to one of the most underrated tools in your hiking arsenal.For people like my wife who hates being cold, these were a gamechanger and keep her warm on cold mornings, evenings, really windy days.We both have a pair and I will never not have them.

I do ballet and modern dance several days per week, and these pants have changed my life. No cap. I got them in black; they go with all my leotards and make me feel like a pro, whether I'm doing plies at the barre or an across the floor pattern in modern. They keep me warm when stretching, and they even hide my knees that I relentlessly forget to straighten! Grooviest pants I own. Buy them! I bought a size small. For reference, I am 5'7", I fluctuate between 120 and 125 pounds, and I have an athletic build.

I got these to use as wind pants on a hiking trip. I love the fabric, the waist fits well, and they pack down to the size of my fist! Incredible.Unfortunately, there's equal amounts of fabric in the front compared to back, which doesn't leave any room for the booty and leaves a balloon in the front.I'm worried that if I bend over too far that I might split the seam.

Lightweight but warm, easy to move, flexible pants.

I’m 5’8 and 170lb after having 2 babies. gotten XL in another brand and the pants would ride up at my ankles because it was too short. This brand fit PERFECT. It’s always iffy for me buying ballet stuff because I’m not the average build (can’t find leotards that fit my bust either) so imagine my surprise when not only did XL fit perfect, there was extra room and length so the pants don’t ride up at the ankle. Yay!

I'm 5'2, 105lbs, with a 25" waist and I got the XS. The waist is TINY. I measured - 10" (without stretching it out at all). It does stretch, of course, but it is uncomfortably tight on me - digs into me. Yet the legs are huge. I know they have to be big since the fabric doesn't stretch, but they are REALLY big. Frumpy, not cute.

I already have these in black, which I've worn out after 12 years. The plum and jade are nice alternative colors. I do wish these pants came with a higher/longer waist (mine is long), and were a tad longer in the legs for those with long legs (mine are short; these hit my ankles). I wear these for warming up at the ballet barre and rehearsals. NOTE: this light fabric does breathe a bit, so they're not garbage bag "sauna" pants!

Outperformed my expectations on the trail as a wind pant. I thought they would easily tear but they held up for the entire trail. They dry really quickly and pack down to almost nothing.I used them in the desert a couple times when I got sunburnt early on too.

My daughter needed on short notice for dance. Arrived quickly, reasonably priced and after wearing several times we have no concerns about quality. Wearing well. Washed without any issues. Will definitely buy again when she needs more.

The sizes aren't true make sure waiste size isn't more than 40 or else forget about it. Waiste of money!!

Got for hiking to use as wind pants. Fantastic, definitely RIP stop. Super lite to carry. Yet to field test but I can tell they will break the wind. I have 40 inch waist 30 inch inseam and xl fits well waist just right, leg bit long but elastic keeps it in check. My wife got large and her 31 inch waist fit perfect. Not a gram weenie but good to save some where you can with no deficit.
