Good quality steel, even if it's made in China. These would work great for about anything. Sure you can use them for camping, but I bought 2 sets to start off with for my Christmas lights in the yard to keep the strings off the ground. I wrap the wire around the head of the stakes and it works great. Bought a third set this year after seeing I could use more due to more lights! After being contacted by the seller asking how they were working (great), they offered me a 20% discount for another purchase. So I bought another set of these for next year. Good product and great customer service from the seller.Update: Jan. 2021. After buying the last set it was "undeliverable" according to Amazon. I contacted them after NOT receiving my refund for several weeks. In the meantime, I contacted this seller, explained the situation, and asked for the discount code again so I could once again purchase another set. They ignored me for a week and then asked what item I wanted to buy. Duh.... All the email correspondence had the exact item in the subject line and body of the emails. Duh again!! Once they gave me a new code, I went to buy another set and BAM!! The price had jumped up over $5. So my discount code they gave me was basically useless. I looked on Amazon, found almost the exact stakes and they were $12 cheaper. Ordered them and they arrived today. Better case and even comes with rubber caps for the pointy ends. So....the stakes are great, but they lost a star due to the customer service and raising the price. I used these in a packed sand environment down by the shore.It wasnt the soft beach sand, but more inland where it is compacted and they worked well.They drove in nicely with a hammer and worked as expected.Removal was a since with the claw end of the hammer and I didnt have any issuesGoing to buy another set for the overhead canopy tent poles over the picnic table next year!

I haven’t tried these yet because it’s mighty cold and wet. They seem very durable, they aren’t as heavy as any other stakes we’ve used and they look like they’d be very east to remove (we use a stake puller). I think these were a great buy and the service was great.

These stakes are the real deal. Solid heavy duty steel. They are not going to break or bend. If you want to inflict any damage to these, you better bring a blow torch. Very please with the purchase.

These stakes are great , whish they weren't made in China but aperentally everything is now a days , strong , sturdy and light . The bag they come with is cheap . You can get a better roll to hold them . Used them to hold down easy ups and tents in strong wind . Hammered in to hard ground no problem 👌 even frozen ground .2 star for removal because that would be a bad thing if they were " easy " to remove

These Tent Stakes drove through hard ground, in October, in South Dakota. The stakes did not bend, as they went into the ground. The stakes were easily removed with the eye hole in the stake, and with the hook of the hammer. A great product, and completely solved the problem of plastic stakes breaking due to the hard ground. Highly recommend, and worth the price.

Works good. Even better would have been 6 inches longer, but great considering the length.

I'm using these for ground blinds for archery hunting. The stakes that come with the blinds are flimsy and don't hold well. These stakes seem very heavy duty and will allow me to go deeper into the ground. I'd order again and probably will.
