There is definitely nothing special about this shampoo and conditioner - it's light, it's natural (I think - I'm not honestly sure and I feel like the seller is a little shady because this same product is sold under all sorts of different names, and for different uses (hair loss, color-safe, etc.) And a lot of the reviews seem pretty suspect. The products smell funny, not very good, but I'd rather have that, than chemical perfume smells, so I won't ding a star for that. And it doesn't feel bad on my hair or make it itch or dry or tangly - it seems very gentle and would probably be good for babies or children. In any case, it's not a bad product, but certainly not deserving of any sort of rave reviews. I don't hate it. But I'm definitely going to keep looking and I won't buy it again.

Conditioner - Yay. Shampoo - Nay?
First off, I want to say it was hard finding shampoo and condition that was catered for colored and frizzy hair. It's even harder finding a set that does not contain sulfate and alcohol (ingredients that will dry out your hair). So when I found this, I was seriously thankful. I'm new to this brand and I've been using their shampoo and condition for almost a month now (I shower everyday btw). I'm glad I invested money in it because I've seen an improvement in my frizzyish hair - that is now only frizzy on humid days. My color is still evident throughout my hair and it seems healthier in general - yay to this. Now why is it four stars instead of five? If I was just reviewing the conditioner, I would easily give five stars because you only need to use a little of it and it smooths out evenly throughout the hair. I think it's because of the conditioner that my hair looks so healthy now. However, I can't say the same for the shampoo. I have to use a larger amount of shampoo than the dosage I use for conditioner because the substance somehow disappears in my hair. You could say my hair soaks it up, but I've never used shampoo like that before. From my experience, shampoo is kind of foamy/soapy and that you lather into your hair. In other words, it feels like the shampoo is not doing anything. Now, if the shampoo is supposed to behave like this, then that's another story...In conclusion, these products have been a great start for me with my new colored hair. The conditioner is wonderful, but the shampoo is not. Nonetheless, I will continue to use these products because I have had great results. To be honest, I would give a 4.5 if I could.

I wanted to like it. I really did
I wanted to like it. I really did. For the price, the conditioner has not lasted very long for the size of the bottle. I have used more than half in over a week. As for the product. I really like the shampoo, but the conditioner has not changed the feel of my dry hair. I get better results from drug store conditioners.

Finally............
Oh.My.Gosh...seriously...wow. This is my hair: longish, dyed, fine, thin, dry ends, frizzy as all get out. I also have scalp psoriasis. I went through medicated shampoos that did a good job at managing my psoriasis but left my hair super frizzy and dry and killed the color. The Amazon reviews for those products were fairly positive but my hair didn't do well with them. I went with Tea Tree shampoo/conditioner for a while and did an okay job at managing the psoriasis and left my hair in slightly better shape than the medicated stuff. The Sweet Spot products manage the psoriasis better than the medicated stuff and actually leave my hair looking and feeling good! I mean, I don't have incredible hair all of a sudden but I'm not embarrassed of it any more! It's not nearly as frizzy, it has more body and shine and I've been able to eliminate 3 other products from my arsenal. Now all I use are these products plus rosemary oil and argon oil.The shampoo has no suds, which makes it a little bit tough to use, but I find that if I use a little bit, wash it out and then apply more, I get enough suds to tell if I have coverage. Then I use a liberal amount of conditioner and let it sit for the remainder of the shower. After towel drying, I use a peanut sized amount of conditioner as a leave-in. I blow dry and then use a bit more of the conditioner. In fact I use the conditioner to tame frizz as it occurs. Unlike other leave-ins, I find it's difficult to use too much and end up looking like I have wet hair.LOVE LOVE LOVE

Still dirty hair :(
Really bummed.. This stuff doesn't seem to fully clean my hair, I've had it them for about a week.. Bummer, I had such high hopes! I'll finish the bottles, since I'm not one to waste $45, but I'll have to wash my hair more often. If it changes with more used I'll update my review, but as of now I would definitely not buy again,

Sweet Spot hits the spot!!
I love this shampoo and conditioner! I have been using WEN and noticed my hair was getting brittle and dry. Miles from the sleek shiny hair of the models in the WEN infomercials. False advertising? Just saying! Then I took a hard look at the WEN ingredients and the SECOND one is ALCOHOL...a drying agent...UGH! the rest of the ingredients I couldn't even pronounce. So why would I put them on my hair infusing into my scalp and body??? I wouldn't and don't anymore. Well, I needed a great, natural shampoo and conditioner that softened and cleaned my hair and didn't poison my body. I went to trusty Amazon and found Sweet Spot Shampoo and conditioner...readable, known ingredients at a great price...I bought both. I tried it as soon as it was delivered to my door and was floored by the results...no soapy suds, no drying agents, no un-pronouncable ingredients, no chemicals, no paraben (wax), nothing harmful, all healthy and natural...and the smell was so fragrant and calming from natural botanicals. NO added fake perfumes, which contain alcohol as well...NO ALCOHOL in Sweet Spot shampoo and conditioner. Then I noticed as I rinsed my hair and the product washed over my body that my skin felt softer! Loving that! This stuff is awesome! I HIGHLY recommend it! And if you are using WEN, STOP, SWITCH and LOVE your hair again. Sweet Spot needs to make a skin cleanser, moisturizer and exfollient...come on now! And as the ingredients are all natural, I am going to bathe my horse with it...why not? Thank you Sweet Spot I am your new and loyal customer!
