Simple and minimalistic. What so many other reviews criticized is what I appreciated, the tight back clip. I am using these to mount on the underneath side of a cabinet and they hold perfectly with no movement or slack. It takes a little elbow grease to remove the battery, but I found moving the batter to the side instead of straight out made the process much easier. I will buy these same clips again.

The clip that holds the battery in place is extremely stiff. If this thing isn't very solidly mounted to whatever you're putting it in, you might rip the entire holder out when you're trying to change the battery.And the wires are extremely thin. It'd be very easy to break them. You'll want to be sure they can't move when you put your build together. I've got them for a project that only needs to last a couple of hours. If I were doing something that needed to hold up long-term, I'd want something different.

Pretty straight forward part. Hard to screw it up. I’m satisfied....

The clip that holds the battery in place is too tight, too stiff. A screwdriver is needed to pry the clip back. I do not recommend this product.

Batteries are nearly impossible to get out. It requires a lot of work because the plastic clip in the back is slanted in way too far. I was using 9V Energizer Max batteries- perhaps that was the issue? I would highly not recommend this product if you will be replacing batteries.

The retaining tab on the bottom end of the battery holder is tilted in to far which makes it impossible to insert a battery.
