Molshine Handmade Glass Dip Pen Crystal Glass Pen Calligraphy Signature Pen Business Present (Grass green)

I received this pen as a gift along with another calligraphy pen set from amazon as a gift from my husband. The packaging was plain which is fine, no damage more importantly, and the pen itself is just gorgeous to look at.I was super excited to receive it as I had wanted a glass calligraphy pen for a very long time so I couldn't wait to use it after ensuring there was no damage to the pen (a lot of reviews had complaints of broken pens arriving).Sadly, it seemed beauty was all this pen really had going for it. Now, it could very well be user error as I had never used one of these pens before, but after several attempts, I had the most difficult time using it. The ink wouldn't deposit evenly and the nib scratched unpleasantly which made me cringe. As seen in the image provided, I compared the 2 pens on standard note paper and sadly I found myself preferring the alternate pen with its metal nibs over this pen.Still, I adored how it looked so I decided to keep it as a decorative piece on my desk. Perhaps I'll try again with another brand of glass pen but for now, this will remain appreciated for its beauty over functionality.

This is a beautiful glass dipping pen! My first time using one and I wanted to start off with one that is low in cost. I was surprised at the amount of ink one dip holds without dripping everywhere. I used noodlers ink in cactus fruit eel and tomoe River paper in cream.

I love this pen. It works great, was well packaged and can write more in one dip into the ink that I expected.

Attention Artists:DO NOT BUY THIS. This “pen” has no reservoir to hold ink. Their basically is no nib; totally useless. The one I got did not even have a decent ball end which might have made it somewhat useful. Beautifully packaged JUNK.

Wanted to use this as an alternative to fine liners and to try out something new, but within less than a month the very tip has broken, which I didn't mind at first because I sanded it down and it gave me a broader line, but it just keeps breaking further despite my gentle handling. Maybe I done something wrong, it is glass after all, but I did hope for it to live longer than it has.
