Worked, but broke quickly
Pros: Cheap way to get anything with a 1/4-20 thread (standard tripod thread) out of your hands and onto your belt. Frees your hands to do other things while you work and even a heavy camera setup when on a belt feels very light.Cons: It worked until it broke. The mechanism that keeps the ball head in the holster relies on a piece of plastic that broke after a few uses. Now if I put the camera into the holster, the piece that's supposed to move in and lock it in place doesn't move in to lock. You can move the piece in yourself, but a slight nudge on the slider means you can drop your whole setup onto the ground.Yes, it's cheap, but it's now broken and useless. I'll be looking toward other products with better build quality.

A bit cheap
A little cheap. Made of plastic. It can hold my gear fine (Nikon D7100 with Sigma 24-70), but the locking mechanism snapped off within the first day of using it. Luckily, as long as you're not getting on the ground to take photos consistently and are relatively upright when taking photos, your camera shouldn't fall out without the locking mechanism. Also, the belt holster part is quite large. I have a relatively slim belt, and had to continually check to make sure the entire holster was still on my belt. It kept falling off from time to time when I crouched down to take photos. You get what you pay for essentially.

You get what you pay for, and it's not worth it.
It does work, and it's kind of cool to your camera hanging from your belt. With that said, the plastic part feels cheap..... Then again you get what you pay for it. It doesn't really fit on most of my belts, it fits best on a web style belt which is not something I wear regularly. On the rest of my belts, the plastic piece is either too small, and I fear breaking it, or too big, where it skips off my belt with minimal weight added to it.

Does Exactly What It Is Supposed To Do.
Does exactly what I want it to do -- BUT be aware that it does NOT come with a belt. Just the clip. You have to have your own belt. Works with most 'dress' pants belts. I use a lanyard with it just for 'belt & braces' but I am sure it will not drop your camera.

Great design
Excellent design. Very handy to be able to keep a DSLR readily available without dangling around your neck. Only thing I would like for it to have is a one hand release. I have to lift up the camera while releasing the lever that keeps the camera from falling accidently.

Three Stars
Works ok but, the locking clip is cheap and if your belt isn't wide it could fall off.
