Slips on well, durable shoe for around the house and light duty outdoor work. Had the last pair for almost 5yrs!

I use these loafers as a replacement for slippers when walking around the house. Although a cozy pair of slippers maybe more comfortable at the start, I find they always break down too quickly, and are unreliable for traction when going up and down stairs. These loafers are almost perfect, providing good grip with the floor, a stiff outer that protects my feet, and enough material to keep my feet warm with a good pair of socks. The fit is good, and I found the measurements to be accurate, which can slightly differ between brands and even styles of the same brand. I have never had this problem with Sketchers, so they are pretty reliable in that regard.The insoles are made of memory foam, which doesn't seem to last longer than a month with moderate wear. I use an aftermarket insert which keeps the bottoms comfortable and provide better support. The leather ages well, and still looks good after 3 months and the seams still look tight and are holding well. The style of these loafers are good looking, and you could pull off wearing them with your everyday clothes.The two biggest Cons for these loafers would be that the high back angles right into the Achilles heel, which makes wearing them very painful until they are broken in. A little padding on this part would have been a big help here. Additionally, I found the smell of these loafers to be unpleasant after a few days of wearing them. It may just be the leather reacting to sweat, but they definitely have a unique funk to them for the first month. On that note, these loafers have ZERO breathe to them, so if you plan to wear them longer than a couple of hours, use foot powder and take them off for a few minutes once in awhile. Otherwise the sweat really builds up.

These are my husbands, go to, shoe. He has purchased this same pair 4 times! And it takes years for him to wear them out!. They do go through a bit of a rotation. He has his "new" pair (AKA, his "going out to dinner" pair) ...and his "garage" pair, and his "yard" pair, and his "painting" pair. After they cycle through the paining pair - they are usually ready to be gifted to the garbage man, but even then, they have no split at the seams, and have some tread left. They are a great, comfortable, sturdy, attractive shoe!

I have bought several of these Skechers loafers, they fit right out of the box, especially if you have wide feet, and are comfortable to walk in with their memory foam insoles. They are not very durable, don't expect them to last years if you do a lot of walking or outdoor activities. They do tend to stretch out with age and the foam insoles go flat. But for average daily use, commuting, office work, short walks, they're great. The first pairs I bought were better quality I think, both in materials and construction. These look like they might not last as long as the previous ones, but at this price I'll just get another pair.

I have a fairly large foot, size 14 .... very wide. I bought size 14 extra wide in these shoes. The actual size and fit was good in fact I'd say very good. This is rare for me so I was happy when I initially got them. I was happy until I wore them for about 5 hours at a work related dinner / fund raising event. At this event I was "working", moderately. At the end of the event on my drive home my heal was hurting so I took off the shoes to drive home. I had a large blister on the back of both of my feet at my Achilles tendon area.I figured the shoes were new and just needed a little time to break in. These things happen, not a huge deal. I decided to wear them about 5 days later after my blisters mostly healed up. Knowing they were prone to giving me blisters I decided to only wear them for a half day at work and wore thick cotton athletic socks. I wore them until lunch time then switched to another pair of shoes. I still got blisters.I wore them again the following week. This time I put bandaids on my Achilles tendon area, under a thick pair of socks, again I planned to take them off at lunch time. My goal being to break them in so they would stop causing blisters and pain. Nope. They still gave me blisters.Ok, fine, I decided to try them again. I put on bandaids, thick socks, and put a strip of duct tape on the back edge of the shoe where they were rubbing. Nope. They still gave me blisters.So these shoes feel good on your foot, as long as you don't walk with them on. At this point I plan to just use these as house slippers and not walk much with them on. I think they will make pretty good house slippers. I needed some house slippers anyway so I'm not upset about that. However, fair warning, if you plan to use these to walk around in I'd avoid these. If you want something to just slip on to take a few steps to the kitchen they are fine.

Nice shoes but too small for hubby

I mostly wear slip on "deck shoes," but their smooth soles make them treacherous in winter. So I ordered up these shoes to slip on in the winter when walking the dog or taking out the recycling in slippery conditions. They fit and look great and the thick, deeply grooved sole grips slippery surfaces perfectly. Also, they're Skechers, so they're light as a feather and super comfortable like you'd expect.

Of my several purchases of Skechers shoes, this has been the biggest disappointment. The shoe started to break away from the top stitches within only a few months of usage. The base material is not sturdy enough to be held by the stitches. Never in my entire life, a shoe has given up on me this fast. A surprising fact is that I mainly used it at work where I spend most of my time sitting. Skechers need to do better with their product line, especially in this price range.
