For me, sleeping on my back on a regular pillow results in neck stiffness the next day. This often leads to neck strains either while exercising or doing other normal daily tasks. I have been searching for a pillow for a while now that allows me to sleep on my back with no neck pain the next morning, and this is by far the best I've found.I am a 5'7" male and this pillow perfectly fits under my neck to support it while still allowing my shoulders to stay flush with the bed and my head to lightly rest on the bed. I use it by itself under my neck with no other pillow. If you are significantly shorter than you may need a narrower pillow than this but I am not sure.I have had significantly reduced neck stiffness and pain since I started using it. I have not noticed any odor that memory foam pillows sometimes have, even when this one was fresh out of the box.When the pillow arrived it came with an offer for a $10 Amazon gift card for completing a very short survey (took me less than 2 minutes). I also received an email offering a free second pillow with damaged packaging. I don't know how much longer these offers are going on for, but they provided even more value to what was already a very reasonably priced item.There's very little bad that I can say about the pillow. While you can sleep with it on your side or face down by sliding the pillow up from your neck to your head, I don't think it's as comfortable as a regular pillow for side or front sleeping. However, this really isn't what it's designed for so I can't really complain. I usually just keep another pillow next to it in case I feel like rolling to my side or front at night and this solves the problem.If you have any neck pain or stiffness from sleeping on your back then I would highly recommend trying this pillow.

So I’ve been struggling with a lot of neck pain from texting and using my computer a lot. I’ve tried certain stretches but recently a friend recommended this pillow which is said to improve the posture. I don’t purchase a lot on Amazon but I liked the white, minimalist design of the packaging (I’m posting an image of the box). After opening, I had to wait an hour or so for the pillow to gain it’s full shape, which I figured was pretty normal for memory foam products. The pillow came with a nice booklet with tips on improving back pain and sleep and stuff which was nice but I’m not much of a reader. Now the product.. I was actually very surprised with how comfy and supportive the pillow was. The material on the white cover was super soft and the pillow was very comfortable for the couch and gave me great support for my neck and back. I use it behind my neck when I’m watching tv on the couch or resting in the bed. I’ve also used it behind my back when I’m in the computer in my desk. I’ve lately been putting the pillow inside my pillow cover when sleeping at the neck level to give me extra support when I’m sleeping. I can say that after a couple of days I feel much less stress on my neck when I wake up and during the day. So far, I’ve gotten great value for my money.

I was skeptical when the box came smaller than anticipated. The pillow was folded in half and severely crunched in the middle where you would lay on. It took almost 3 weeks for the crunched bit to relax. SINCE THEN it has been a mainstay for sleeping with my sore neck and has traveled with me for business. I can't wad up a pillow well enough like this pillow to be able to sleep. It is larger in diameter than the other neck pillows that you slide into your pillowcase which the larger diameter feels better on the neck. My PT says that my flexibility in my neck has gotten better since I started using it. Would buy it again if needed.

cylinder neck roll came folded in the middle. contacted company a couple days later to allow foam to form and expand properly. however, it never did. got a replacement within two weeks. very helpful & fast to reply customer service. though the replacement was not what i originally ordered, i made it work for me anyway. therefore, only removing one star.

I used it for my side where I had surgery

Very satisfied with both products. The bolster pillow said it was "cooling", but I did not find it that way. Had to wrap in a pillow case to make it more comfortably cool. I can sew, so I am going to make a cover out of a pillow case---that being said, after I wrapped it in pillow case, I was so comfortable I had the best night's sleep in a long time. I a 75, and sleep in often elusive.

It is much larger--fatter than my old one but I knew that before I ordered, & can get used to it. Because it's memory foam, it conforms to my neck. My regular pillows are also memory foam so i know what to expect. I usually start off sleeping on my side. I like the support. Last night I was laying sideways on my bed and watching TV. It worked great for that. I didn't have to prop my head up with my hands. Keeps them from going numb as they are aggrivated by carpel tunnel. Memory foam is usually hot so I like the cooling material the cover is made from. I've not tried it for lumbar support yet, but I expect it would work good for that as well.
