My new favorite coffee!

I want to preface my comments by saying I don't normally care for flavored coffees or anything artificially flavored. But I fell in love with Southern Pecan coffee on a recent trip to Texas Hill Country, I have been trying to find one to replace the one I brought home from there (which isn't available in K-cups), and I put a lot of stock in the preponderance of 5 star reviews here. So this one is a nice coffee, as evidenced by the reviews. But the pecan flavor is too artificial and too much for my taste. I will definitely use it up, but I will look for a milder, hopefully naturally flavored one. I should have paid more attention to "natural & artificially flavored" on the package. On the plus side, the 3-pack pricing is excellent!

My new FAVORITE coffee!! I'm currently on a pecan coffee kick. I have tried this one, New Orleans Roast - Southern Pecan, and the Green Mountain Pecan coffee. In order of preference, I would rate the New Orleans Roast - Southern Pecan #1, PJ's Southern Pecan #2, and Green Mountain pecan #3. The New Orleans roast, to me, seems particularly aromatic, and has a richer flavor. PJ's Southern Pecan is a close runner-up - maybe a bit lighter flavor. Green Mountain seems to me the lightest of all. I prefer very strong coffee, as well as very strong tea. All 3 of these coffee's are excellent, and I would recommend all 3.

Hubby said, "I like it, it makes me happy, so buy more." So, I have now set the purchase to auto ship every month to keep him happy.

I usually like a medium roast coffee, this coffee must have been a light roast as I could hardly taste any flavor. Before this I had tried Green Mountain Southern Pecan and like it but based on reviews on this coffee I decided to try it and bought 2 boxes. I feel like I can't get rid of it fast enough. I would not purchase it again. The thing about coffee, each person has different taste buds, that's why there are so many different flavors, this just wasn't mine.

Amazing taste, this has become my favorite coffee. I have to hide it to make sure there is always some for me! I order 3 boxes at a time, it is that good! It has a smooth, rich taste but is not overly strong, I use Stevia and creamer in my coffee as well. We used to live 45 miles from New Orleans and I never heard of this brand or flavor when I lived there, I would have bought a truckload!
