ID StrongholdIdentity Stronghold Secure Badge Holder Duolite, Purple (IDSH2004-001B-pur)

I had two concerns before buying this badge holder: would it hold the badges securely, and would it keep them both from triggering?My office has RFID readers on the doors, and I have a second RFID badge. Previously I had been keeping them on separate straps, but I felt ridiculous with both of them. I saw someone at work with one of these, though, and bought this right away.The main thing that concerned me was the fact that it doesn't look like there's very much holding the cards in. Also, there's one open side, so I was a little nervous the cards would slide out. However, the edges are pretty strong, and the cards are held in snugly on both sides. There's a tiny lip, so they don't slide smoothly, but it holds them in better that way, and I liked that.I like the fact that they slide in two different ways, it allows me to know which side is which without looking. Also, the side where the card slides in from the side instead of the top allows the card a little space, so it worked with the card reader without having to slide the card out. The other side you have to partially remove the card to make it work, but it can stay 60% in the holder.I also love the purple color. My only complaint is that it's kind of heavy, but I'd rather it be heavy than flimsy. I'd definitely buy it again.

I have been using these for awhile, so naturally I went looking for this product to hold my cards for my new job. The only downside I find with this holder is that it blocks all your cards from being read period. Metro cards, ID cards, security door cards, etc. The last one I had about 4 years ago, i could keep the card in the holder and hold it up to the reader and it would still read it. This one blocks reading period. So my fancy lanyard with that pulley thing became pointless. I was planning on just pulling on the badge holder up the reader and let go when it was read. Nope had to pull out my badge and have it read.

My Stepdad and I have had this item for 5 years now and it is still in great condition. Hold 2 badges, one for the airport and one for the airlines I work for. I work outside in all 4 seasons, so it has gone through Chicago winters and summers and it's still in perfect condition. It is connected to the lanyard via a Key Ring.

I need to hang my badge from a landyard. It’s a bit heavier than I was hoping. But I serves the purpose. It’s not too clunky now that I’m used to it.

I needed a replacement after the one my employer gave me snapped in half. I'm glad they had purple since it's my favorite color. Helps me to properly display my ID card.

Bought this holder after losing my CAC card, 6 months of use so far, no complaints here! Strong, sturdy, was concerned about the top plastic part breaking off but so far so good!

It does okay as a badge holder if you dont need to remove your badge often(but then what's the point of it). Ive been using it for a month and just switched back to my old holder. After a month kf use, it has worn out my badge so bad the writing on it is not legible anymore. Good looking holder though so i gave it 2 stars
