I didn't want to scrap my wife's 20 year old make up mirror when I thought that there was a possibility of taking it apart and finding a replacement bulb. Don't get me wrong, she's done such a good job with her make up over the years that I would buy her a new one if I had to. But now I'm at the age where I like to look at things that don't work and try to figure out how to take it apart and repair it.This make up mirror was built like a bank vault and looked impenetrable, but careful (and undisturbed) study along with a few beers gave me the clue I needed. The manufacturer was quite clever and obviously never planned on anyone taking this thing apart, but it ended up not being much of a challenge to someone who would drink beer all night while studying for a college exam. It only took me six (or was it seven) years to get through college.Anyway, once I had access to the light bulb, it was a simple matter of matching it to those offered on Amazon. For the princely sum of $4.19 it was delivered to my door. In about two minutes the bulb was replaced and the make up mirror reassembled. And the kicker is that it worked! I'm never really sure about the outcome since I put in a new garbage disposal and the doorbell rang. I guess that practice makes perfect.

I like the nice clean lite

I have a light outside in my carport that requires this special bulb. I could not find them anywhere locally and I knew amazon would have them. The shipping was timely and the item was packaged well. I will definitely be buying these again in the future!
