Maple Hot Pots (Maple Enjoy Suki Hot Pot Shabu with BBQ Grill)

My husband and I loved getting hot pot out, but for various reasons decided it would be more enjoyable as a treat at home. I agonized long over which product to get and chose this one for these reasons:1. Easy to clean. I make meals almost every day, sometimes from scratch. If this is for fun, then I want to work less! The pot and grill plate are removed from the heating element, so no potential exposure of electrical parts to moisture (those one pieces have a terrible design!). The plate is easy to clean. We'll see how the coating holds up, but it seems very good. The soup part is very easy to clean. I just soak for a bit, and even the cooked-on food comes off easily. Many pots have Teflon type coating, but this part doesn't--so I feel better about the longevity.2. No need for divided pot. While we like having different soups when out to sample the other's, we also don't have differing tastes. However, it would be good to have a divider if often sharing with guests. I kind of want to share now, so we'll see if I get a small pot later for people who don't like spice.3. Bigger area for soup than for grilling. Some hot pot/grill combos have the opposite. We like the soup part best, like the grill as an option. My husband eats only a little meat, and not many types. I might grill mushrooms. The grill plate is a little big for our use, but if we have guests, it will be just big enough.We have used it twice. Both soup and grill parts heat very fast. Admittedly, I did heat some water (as recommended in the directions, I believe?) first as I did food prep. It came back to boiling very soon. Keeping the boil is pretty loud, and makes the experience a little more exciting. Maybe a little intense! I had to add a little water as it cooked the soup down. As for the grill, I was surprised by how fast the steak strips cooked. Keep an eye on it!While this isn't the least expensive hot pot here, it was worth it. Our local hotpot place isn't exactly cheap, so this hotpot is actually fairly economical. The quality seems very good, and has a convenient design.We used this for a relaxed birthday and anniversary weekend and had a lot of fun. Thanks, Maple!

We got ours October of 2019 and have never stopped loving it. We even just bought one as a wedding gift for some friends. It’s easy clean, easy to use and very well made. I cannot recommend this enough.

Love this for hotpot with the family. Easy to clean, works great, easy to move from kitchen to dining room. Seller is solid, amazing customer service. Much prefer this all-in-one unit rather than separate pot and burner.

It heats up fast.

Hi, I really like your product, and I bought 2 times, but all the 2 lids broken, how can I buy 2 lids for it?

I read reviews before buying. And concentrated on the negative ones. I wanted to know the problems observed with the product. I noticed the complaints about the soup and hot plate temp. After years in asia and married to a hotpot chef from the region, I purchased it as a surprise to her. She thought I was purchasing another fishing rod for "her". She absolutely loves it! She knows to prepare and heat her special broths BEFORE placing in the pot. And Season the meats before grilling. The soup heat is maintained throughtout the dining period. The hot plate is adjustable, non-stick, and cleans without scrub pads. All parts separate from the heating unit for cleaning. The hot plate has a lip to contain juices from dripping into the soup. Strips of fat and or dripping olive oil adds to the BQ quality and experience. As I am the preparer of our outdoor charcoal unit, I can say this electric unit is ten times more comfortable to setup and use. Plus one can sit smokelessly inside and enjoy. I like it as much or more than her. Who can resist picking your meat from grill to mouth!The bad.... it doesn't come in green.

I didn't like the fact that it came without the handle to put on the pot top. How was I going to pick up the hot pot top without a handle. The pot cooked great, but I was so disappointed that I had to take the handle off one of my pots in order to use it. I order two different pots from Amazon and neither one of them came with a handle to attach to the glass pot top. I never order on line, and this is what happens the first time I order on line.

Does exactly what it’s suppose to do. Was worried because they did not package item correctly; came to me as if I picked it up off a shelf. No amazon package, just straight out original box. However, no water damage. Easy to clean too. Gets super hot
