I got this picnic backpack on a reccomendation from a friend for a picnic and the way its organized it's a life saver.Contains basically everything you need for a picnic for four people, and the main compartment is perfect for keeping things cool.The backpack straps stood out to me, maybe because I had it on my back for a couple of hours, but despite loading it up with sandwiches and lots of drinks they didn't dig into my shoulders.The main compartment is also kind of insulated and could probably contain a leak (I'm not going to test it but it looks good).For me this backpack is a keeper, but I do hope to see some improvements in the future. Specifically I'd like to see beefier/stronger zippers, a second wine bottle pockets so the bag can be balanced better, and most importantly, for it to be bigger, I mean deeper, wider and taller.Especially for the price very pleased though and would buy again.

Bought this for a music in the garden event, and used it for the time and it was great. I was skeptical in looking at these backpacks online as to how much space they have for food - tons. I fit four bottles of soda, 5 mid size storage containers, several small size containers, and still had room for other food. The plates are small - salad size. But, you can fit your own full size plastic or paper plates in the front storage. My only negative is that the blanket isn't really a blanket, it is more like a plastic tablecloth. That might be okay in some situations, but was not what I expected. But, you can hook on your own picnic blanket. The wine bottle holder is definitely for the standard tall skinny bottles of wine. If you have a wide bottom bottle, you will probably have a hard time fitting it in the bag, as the neck of the back is cinched pretty tight. But, overall it is great and we will use this again and again!

This is a really nice picnic set comes with everything you could possibly need in a compact and easy to carry manner. Theres lots of room for food and is insulated keeping your food warm or cold for a while. Amazing value for the price.

This is a really good solution for picnics and is really worth every penny. First things first, it is very convenient. Yes, may it doesn't look as lovely and cheerful and from-a-candy-land as straw baskets, but it is much more practical and easy to transport. I used to have a straw basket for picnic before and every time we wanted to bike somewhere for a picnic, attaching this thing to a bike was so painful. Not a problem with a backpack though.I really love that it has a cooler in the main compartment -- really nice addition, especially if you are having a picnic on a hot day and you like cheese as much as I do. The backpack itself looks very well-made and durable. Easy to get any grass or soil stains out too. I like that it has lots of other compartments so there is place for waterbottles and umbrellas and small things too. It wasn't important for me whether the picnic bag would go with cutleries and plates but once I got this one it does make a difference. First, these ones are lighter than every-day kitchen ones and second, they look much better than plastic or paper stuff. There is also a bottle opener kit, proper knife and a small cutting board. Everything has its own place in the backpack and properly secured. Oh yes, a blanket and wine-bottle case are another nice additions.If there is one thing I would recommend to change is to add cooler-type lining in the wine-bottle case as well. Would be nice to keep whites, rose, sparkling water or sodas nice and cool.

My mother used to take me on picnics in front of our house and this backpack allows me to recreate some of those fond childhood memories. The insulated design makes it perfect for those warm summer days. The wine cooler is a really thoughtful touch! Overall the backpack is well designed and decent quality for the price. I took this backpack to the park for an impromptu picnic and instead of carrying a huge cooler, and multiple grocery bags, I was able to fit everything in the backpack. It made the picnic experience so much easier and practical.

I bought this item based on the recommendation of a friend to give as a gift to my in-laws, who are casual hikers here in Southern California. The first thing I noticed when it arrived was that the backpack was protected in bubble wrap with a big "Nature Gear" sticker on the front. It was a classy presentation. The thing I like about the look of this bag is that when it opens up, you see a classic red and white checker board pattern that signifies that it's time to relax and enjoy (most of the other bags I looked at were plain). I am really happy with the value of this & will thank my friend for his recommendation.
