Great book, much easier to understand than similar books which conceptualize ideas and theories. But I believe there could be more math and statistic work shown it since it is a book about development economics.

Excellent collection of a great analyst's experience over a lifetime of achievement in this domain

It is pretty much a textbook for food security, nothing life changing, but a good overview. Touches on markets, assistance programs, poverty and drought, amongst other issues. Definitely needs to be supplemented with case studies and real world examples.

Used it during my undergraduate days,Couldn't access my previous copy so re-purchased it.The book description already gives enough details as to the contents of the text.
