Tablet Portfolio for iPad Tablets

I bought this portfolio as a case for my iPad2. A co-worker had the same portfolio and I really liked that it had the built in screen protector flap (a feature I could not find on similar products). The portfolio is great. Lots of pockets, fits the iPad very well and the elastic straps hold it in place very securely. The quality of the materials and construction seem to be top of the line. The leather is great and the stitching look very neat and solid. It has a great professional appearance and no doubt will prevent many scratches and dings to the iPad. Almost perfect, almost.There are two fairly small issues I've found with this product. First, is the price. It is quite expensive, almost $20 more than the most expensive similar product I found. Second, the screen protector does not have the necessary magnet to trigger the iPad to sleep when you close the flap or the entire portfolio. That would have been a cheap feature that could have been added and would have made this a stellar solution for a professional looking iPad case.Overall, despite the high expense, this portfolio appears to be worth the money I spent on it. If it is as durable as I believe it will be, I'll be quite happy with the purchase.

This is my second Tablet Porfolio for iPad Tablet. The first one we wore out and this is the replacement. It protects my iPad completely. I highly recommend this Portfolio.

Most functional. I would have given 5 stars but the inserts for documents are very tight. Can't get more than 1 or two very small papers into them.

Anything sold by Brookstone can be counted on: 1. To be expensive. 2. To be of highest quality. This item is described as genuine leather, but we are undecided whether or not it is simply made of high quality synthetic material. (Amazon sells many cases described as 'leather' but they are actually synthetic--an annoying fib that seems to be simply acceptable without regard for truth.) Articles of real leather are usually embossed somewhere with "genuine leather" but this item shows no such label. The truth is impossible to determine, because the reverse sides of the material are lined with very high quality suede material. One feature. much liked. is the flap cover for the iPad screen which folds over it for protection.Other considerations: We wish the single zipper were double, for quicker access. The many pockets are of limited use because they are so tightly sewn. A packet of airline tickets could be a tight fit. It is not compact, being 1 1/2" thick with nothing but an iPad in it! Sometimes airport inspectors require that iPad be removed from case, but it is very easy to do.

Great zippered portfolio for your iPad. You can find a pad of paper to fit in here at any office supply store.

Protects my ipad. Love all the pockets and zip closure. Can still flip left side around so it's not so bulky when on your lap.

totally filled my needs. very nice quality, room enough for both the BT keyboard I use, and the hot spot. has a divider so that they devices are not right up against the iPad screen itself
