Martha White Cotton Country Cornbread, Buttermilk 6 Oz (Pack of 6)

I bought this product for my mother-in-law because she was not able to get it in her local grocery store. She loves it. Claims it makes the best cornbread ever.

My mom use to use this brand to make her thanksgiving dressing, now that she’s passed away it’s tradition to carry on and use this brand & it doesn’t disappoint, very easy to make and enjoy, this and a cast iron skillet and some buttermilk equals one solid ingredient in what I would say is mom’s dressing I wouldn’t change brands for any reason.

Makes great cornbread

This cornbread is really tasty and makes a nice southern cornbread. It is not sweet, which is exactly what we were looking for. It cooks perfectly in an 8" cast iron skillet with a nice crust on the top. Great to have when soup is on the menu! So convenient to have a package mix like this, as cornmeal is very hard to find in our area.

I was thrilled to find this on Amazon, as even Walmart no longer carries it locally. My husband and I are transplanted Southerners who occasionally *need* cornbread. This is my fallback when I don't have time, energy, or ingredients to make cornbread from scratch. It's very much like true homemade Southern cornbread (we are from Alabama), and it makes just the right amount. The tamale pie recipe on the package is a great quick and easy pantry meal, too. It was one of the first things our sons learned to make when it was their turn to make dinner.

This packaged cornbread is absolutely delicious! It's impossible to find cornbread without sugar in California and I'm so grateful to have found this brand that I can order on Amazon! ! It is also very easy and quick to make! My family and friends love it with soups, chili and vegetables! Highly recommend for taste and convenience! Great price too!

I make this using the southern version. It is moist and delicious. For variety I also add jalapeños.

Arriving on time & in good shape. It is the only corn bread mix we will use. Flavor & value is very important. We always get that w/Martha & Amazon.
