I was able to finish within hours!
With the help of my Amazon echo, I finished the book within a matter of hours. I have always wanted to read from Leah's point of view about her life. MTV and the public eye still need to make ratings. I am not trying to make fun of MTV and their need to make gripping television. However, for fans, that is why it is essential to focus on what really happens. I applaud Leah for writing this short book to enlighten family and friends about what really happens off-camera. I have not watched teen mom two in quite some time. However, Leah was always my favorite to watch. I, to deal with a disability, not like her daughter. However, I know what it is like to live a life differently. As well as having to adapt to a different normal. I have always hoped one day I could hang out with Leah and her family. I hope one day that will happen. Thank you, Leah, for writing your story in book form. God bless!

Open and honest
Read this book in a few hours. I couldn’t put it down. Some grammar mistakes here and there but it was still easy to read. If you watch the show and are a fan of hers, I highly recommend reading this. Leah is very open about her childhood and what was really happening while filming the show.

Kudos to Leah
I have watched teen mom from the beginning and always have had a soft spot for Leah. I am proud that she detailed her struggles with substance abuse and the struggles shes had being a teen mom with such honesty. She doesn't try to gloss over her struggles but instead accepts responsibility and learns from her mistakes. This young lady is going places.

Pretty predictable for every girl that has these issues. Only the names a
Have been changed. I think the writer needs to reevaluate some of the situations she wrote about as she seems to blame everyone but herself. I would have liked to know about what happened when her stepfather took her away for a week? Did her her mother seek help. I know that she is doing so much better. I understand the struggles are real. In 1966 I was a unmarried teen Mom at a time that you were assumed a whore I was just 15. I hope Leah writes another book as time passes and she becomes less of a "Victim " She is a sweet kid who loves her girls with her whole being

Her side of the story
I have been following Leah’s story since the very beginning. When Teen mom and Teen Mom 2 aired, I was in my 20s and had my son. Even though the teen mom girls were much younger than me, I really had this bonding with them because even though I was 22 when my son was born, I felt very alone in my journey.Watching their stories were comforting during that time. I’ve watched these show faithfully over the years and have loved watching their kids grow up.I know a lot is scripted, but especially in these later years you can see who these women really are.I love reading their books because it gives a glimpse as to what really happened. Not the lies and stories on the internet gossip sites.I’m so glad Leah spoke up about all her trials she went through. I’m shocked at all she said about her mother. I did NOT get that impression from the show, that she was that way. I hope that things are better and they are all healing from past traumas. I loved what she said about setting boundaries, I’m also living that way now in my life. It’s amazing when you get the courage to speak up and set boundaries and teach people how to treat you...they either fall in line or fight you every step of the way. But it’s so worth it.Great job Leah. Always enjoy watching you and your fam on Teen Mom. Live for those girls!

Raw and Honest
I really enjoyed reading Leah Messer’s book. It was a very easy read and I couldn’t put it down. The subject matter can be a bit rough for those unprepared for it. Leah is very honest, raw, and transparent in this wonderful book. There are some grammar and writing mistakes, but the message is easily communicated. I highly recommend this book and feel that it address many difficult issues in an authentic way that has the benefit to help others. Thank you Leah!

Inspiring
This was a really good read and I recommend it for anyone that is interested in Leah’s life outside of the (not so) reality TV show. It gives you a better understanding of her life and everything that she’s worked on to make herself a better person and mother.

A true inside look into Leah's life -
Wow! I read this book in less than 24 hours - I couldn't put it down! As a massive Teen Mom 2 fan, I thought I knew all the cast really well. This book reveals Leah's real and raw past that guided her through all the ups and downs she has experienced. The TV show never gave the full picture about how events unfolded, but this book explains just how complicated everything really was in Leah's life.I felt so proud, reading how Leah has managed to break the negative cycles of her past to create a stable and loving future for her wonderful children - Ali, Gracie and Addie.Thank you Leah, for sharing you life and inspiring others to have hope, grace and faith.

The truth well spoken
I have followed Leah’s 16 & pregnant and Teen mom stories and I was always hopefully throughout that one day she would find her happy ever after. My twins are 9 next and the reality of going from 1 person 3 overnight is so overwhelming but reading this it shows that it can be done as a family unit or as a single parent, well done girl!!! The book is well written and a fabulous read, it took me just 3 hours to read and I enjoyed every minute.
