They aren't huge
I don't know how big all these reviewers are but if you buy them based on the reviews thinking they will wrap you in luxury then don't buy these. I am 75" tall and they don't cover me. i literally laughed as I thought about the countless reviews claiming they covered their family with these. They wrap me up about 3/4 of the way and go from my shoulders to shin. Now on to quality. They definitely feel waterpoof. Fairly heavy plastic on the outside and a thin layer of soft cloth on the inside. so I think they will work they just aren't life changing like so many of the reviews said. my wife likes the grey so that is a win and half the battle. They roll nicely (with some stuffing) in to their carrying case which is a nice touch. I will post another review after winter and discuss durability and warmth.

Huge stadium blanket!
Purchased this for myself to use at my son's high school football games. It is a two layer blanket, with the outer layer being material similar to what tents are made of. It claims to be waterproof, but we haven't been rained on yet. It does a great job fending off that 'damp' feeling once the sun goes down and the temps start dropping. The second layer is a soft felt like material which is surprisingly warm. It is a lot larger than I expected, since most stadium blankets are just 'lap blankets'. This one is big enough for 2-3 people to huddle under. Sitting by myself, it's almost 'too big' because it kept getting under my feet and dragging on the bleachers. But the size will be an advantage if/when it starts raining because I'm pretty sure I can sit on the blanket and pull it up over my head keeping tushy and head dry. Folds easily and has it's own built in strap to keep it rolled and it's own carrying case with handle. Overall, happy with purchase.

great blanket!
The blanket exceeded my expectations. The inner side is so soft and I enjoy wrapping up in it. The outside is water proof and has held up. One night we were out wrapped up in the blanket and it started raining. The blanket saved our night! it kept the rain off us and kept us dry. The blanket looks great and is super durable. So far it is our go to blanket and seems to be able to keep up for the long haul.

Not the blanket I thought I was buying.
I thought this would be a nice warm tough blanket. It is not very warm. We brought it camping as extra warmth over a sleeping bag. Not much warmer than a regular fleece blanket. It makes a swooshing sound whenever it is moved also. The bottom layer is not attached to the top waterproof layer. So it is noisy moving it around. I wished I would of spent more and got a higher quality outdoor blanket.

Perfect for camping!
My family and I camp in the mountains as much as we can. This high quality waterproof blanket is perfect to put at the bottom of our tent to prevent moisture from seeping into our sleeping bags. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Really High Quality Outdoor Blanket. Highly Recommended!
Love this outdoor waterproof blanket. I got the gray one and when it cools off a little bit I am going to buy at least one more. This is the first one of these I have purchased and I am happy with product so far. I will update if something goes wrong. However, so far the quality is high, seams are well sewn, material is soft on the inside and waterproof on the outside. Good purchase.

Too loud! Too much like a giant crinkling garbage bag.
This “blanket” is as represented, however the waterproof ripstop is only attached to the fleece around the edges, so you have a poofy/crinkly/very loud balloon of ripstop wrapped around you. In black this is just too garbagebag-esque for me to want to use.

High Quality Product!
Living in San Diego, I go to the beach often. I bought this waterproof stadium blanket because it perfect for the beach. I can lay the waterproof side down and I won’t get wet or sandy and I can sit on the comfortable soft fleece side, it’s perfect. I will buy a couple more for my friends.
