Not the best book on the subject...
I am glad I didn't pay full price for this book, and honestly wouldn't have even purchased it used had I known what it is all about. If you are like me, you are really intrigued about the consumer lifestyle behind the iron curtain, but there are better books out there if you are interested in this kind of things from companies like Taschen. Overall, this book was a disappointment and left me wanting more.

great book
For someone who was born in Eastern Europe is still suprising to see this. I am 80s kid so I do remember a few of shop windows. Its aesthetical qualities are, in some way, still better than in these days. Great book and musthave in all libraries of photobooks collectors.

Beautifully produced- what a pity that there are no photos pre 1980s

Great Windows
Windows can tell you a lot. Reminded me of my trips to Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in the early nineties.

Perfecto
Un repaso a la estética de los países del Este antes de la caída del muro con geniales fotografías. Muy interesante si eres aficionado al diseño de mundo soviético
