Complicated
Seeing this series thru starting from I Am Number Four even if this one started a little slowly. The author’s style to tell multiple tales and fuse them into one is impeccable. As usual it’s a bit annoying that the kids take a prominent role in this series at the expense of the adults not withstanding that’s it’s a YA genre. The author manages to develop multiple characters consistent with their personalities and endemic to their legacies. Then interlaces the manifestation of these legacies in a symbiotic way that requires ingenuity. In my mind the main message is that things are complicated. Rare is the purely evil species. Intentions are mostly faced into the proper direction. But, lack of communication and sound judgment can cause chaos, war, and unnecessary rifts among friends and allies. This can only be recognized from a global point of view which is that of God, or in this case, the reader and author, who is the fashioner of this imaginary our tale.

Took A While To Get Going
But I still give the book 5 stars. I try to not compare this series to the I Am Number Four series, but it’s hard. These are new characters and it just took me a little bit to get to know them. Now that I’m invested and a tiny spoiler is that I hope the Original characters come back for an appearance, I’m excited to see where it all ends. Worth the read.

XMen all over again
While I found the first book in this series somewhat intriguing, this one is little more than a rehash of the X-Men movie franchise. I won't write any spoilers but it is obvious by now that the Lorien Legacies Reborn series and the Legacy Chronicles are moving into Mutants (Human Garde) versus humans. Nine is Professor X (albeit a not very inspiring Professor X), Einar is Magneto, Isabella is Mystique and you have the usual humans who are too stupid to treat the Human Garde as allies and decide to exploit them instead. I have to say after United as One I find this new storyline depressing. The book is good if you like action, but not great or even original by any means. If you're into the Lorien series you're probably going to read it anyway. I hope the the next books in the series are a little more original. These days I only need to turn on the news to see people disrespect people who are different from them. This novel just wants to club me over the head with that fact.

Definitely a Must Read in the I Am Number Four Series
Once again the writer has given a thrilling account of the struggles of humans dealing with power and those who want themselves at the top of the power structure. The writing is insightful and the caring for those one loves comes out on top with the sacrifice deemed worth the risk. The character development is spot on and maintains the integrity of the series. This book and series is a must read for true Si-Fi readers.

Absolutely solid follow up to Generation One. The ending will drop your jaw a bit I expect and I cannot wait for the next "chapter". The world that Pittacus Lore has created makes it absolutely easy to imagine in your head as you read the story. Been a fan since the beginning and have read all the Novellas associated with this universe love that it has been continued and hasn't lost it's edge.

Human Guarde -vs- The Avengers
After wading through too many chapters of boring drivel, the story becomes remarkably reminiscent of Captain America: Civil War. It is apparent that the author has no clearly developed plot in mind as each book seems to have an "off the cuff" feel to it. And the constant use of more and more of the old Loric characters, when this series is supposed to be 'the next generation' seems like a cheap attempt to hold reader interest. There are also too many inconsistencies between books, (like in the first series). For example, in the first book, Rabiya was the Shiekh's niece; in the second book, she is his daughter.

Growing up
A very good book and continuation of the series. The only reason I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 is because the first 2/3 of the book are very slow. I can see why this was done this way to show the characters growth and maturity. Also when you have 9 characters to develop in the same book it will get a bit slower. Just of the pace of the book is what made this very good instead of great. The other thing I really like about this book is the classic X-men style of the book. The themes of racism, not fitting in and not knowing who to trust. Along with saving the world in many cases from itself. The are more appearances of the old heroes, but these are small, and I think that was the right decision because they would have overshadowed the Earth Grades, not allowing them to develop as much. The last 1/3 of this book was beyond awesome. Lots of action revelations flying fast, and lots of action. Then then ending promising huge things to come. I can't wait for the next book. this was a bit of a setting the scene, but also showing the new characters so grow and make their own decisions.

Yes yes yes
Oh good god the ending. This series is the perfect companion if you enjoyed the I am number four series. The characters are fantastic and so well developed. My only qualm is that there were perhaps too many character POV’s in this book, resulting in very little detail from each character. I much preferred the last two books in this series. However it was still an enjoyable read, with an interesting plot.

Getting back to previous good format
Seems to have got the focus back. Liked how some of the original characters have reappeared. Feel this book is first of another series so am awaiting the next one. Doesn’t have quite the pace and continuity of the original books that grew with each character. Do we know what happened to Adam? Would like to see him again. Enjoyed the book.

Book series
Have followed this series of books since I am number 4. Not as brilliant as the others but its probably only because its a lead up to the next book so waiting for next one to see what happens.

Cannot wait for the next one
Fugitive six is a fantastic book but a little bit slower than it's predecessors with much of the book dedicated to the politics between the earth garde academy and the government. It also sets the scene for the next book in the series with a brilliant yet ominous cliffhanger. A must read for all who enjoy superhero based books.
