Does what it's supposedly to, decent build quality and both of the jack earphones work perfectly with it.

Excellent product ..and good value ..as my new 10th generation iPad has no earphone socket I needed a splitter..I made the right choice!

Yes a touch expensive, but when flying with one iPad between the two of you, it really is worth the cost to avoid any unwanted squabbles. Unfortunately, it does not pick the film for you so you will probably end up arguing over which of the few downloaded films you'll watch but at least this removes the first hurdle of you both being able to watch and listen at the same time!I have really enjoyed using this and it has become part of my flying essentials!

Purchased this so me and my son could watch movies on the plane (phone). And worked a treat, great working and well made item.

After a search on Amazon for a splitter that works with apple and android drew a blank, I took a chance on this splitter. Have tried with the latest iPad and a Google pixel 4a and pixel 6. Works well with these devices which means the kids can now listen to the same music or watch movies on car journeys with headphones on. Can’t comment on the quality yet as we’ve only tried the splitter for a few mins.

Pretty small, very lightweight and a simplistic design. You just hook the headphones into there and it works plain and simple.

This item was not compatible with device that I wanted to use it with. Unfortunately, the detailed description was not clear, because I had to access it with voiceover. Therefore, the detail is not good for a blind person.

Usual headphone splitter can experience issues when different headphones are being plugged in and the impedance is different, resulting in different current flow into each headphone producing different volumes. Additional headphone also lowers the impedance load seen by the headphone amp and it has to drive harder to sustain higher current. Sometimes if the headphone amp is not up for the job, you start to hear distortions.A better way is to use a USB based solution with built-in DAC that decodes the digital audio signal and have separate headphone amplifier to power each of the two headphone jack. You get much better audio quality.The problem with the above solution is that for budget usb headphone adapter, the DAC chip being used is of cheap and poor SQ variety.This often results in many OEM usb headphone adapters and the cheaper 3rd party products having poor SQ.The workaround is to use external USB DAC like the Audioquest DragonFly Red or Cobalt, which is compact and provides good dynamic sound. Too bad none of these supports dual headphone output, which is particularly handy when enjoying in-flight movie entertainment between two persons using a laptop.This usbc headphone dual output adapter has very good sound quality, despite its very affordable price. The 24-bit 96khz DAC sounds very clean and dynamic. I have tested the sound using a Sony XBA-Z5 Professional In-ear monitors and listening to both movies and soundtracks from SACD converted lossless audio, i have to say i am impressed.The unit is also very well build, with braided cable and the use of OFC copper cables internally.Plug and play detection also happens each time either headphone is being inserted into the jack.Overall, i am very happy this product and have no reservations recommending to others who are after a high sound quality solution to sharing audio with your travel buddy.
