we all know wood isn't perfect! especially these days. Your standard stair gauges just don't match up to the big dogs! Get accurate layout on any material with the patent pending big dogs!

After Framing houses for more than 25 years and never having these available until after getting out of the framing biz. I am glad I found them because so many times you have feathers on wood and those short "Framing Bolts" slipping off. My hats off to the designer of these "Big Dog Stair Gauges" I would definitely recommend them to anyone. :-)

Don't think twice
I layout stairs probably once a week, and can't fathom why the smaller guages were ever invented! Lumber may not be what it used to be, but these cover any use on any material. If you need t o make repeat marks using any sort of steel square, buy these.

Great product!
I actually bought these for my co-worker and after using them I'm gonna buy another set for myself. Bigger and more heavy duty than any of the other stair gauges I have seen. Bigger means easier to spot in the tool box too! Great product!
