ARK's Krypto-Bite Chewable Gem Necklace Chew Jewelry (Soft, Magenta)

i have adhd and sensory issues and other chewable are very cute but this has probably been the one i enjoy most because it is a softer chew. it has a way different bite feel but at the same time very durable and not broken! i was so happy to find this product and would recommend it to anyone. the company makes other products harder or softer depending on what u r looking for as well!!!

My 10 y/o daughter is on the autism spectrum, and sometimes feels the need to chew when she's feeling stressed. We were away on vacation, and being in a strange environment her anxiety level increased which made the chewing became a big issue. She was spending all of her time chewing on her clothing and her hair, ruling both. So I searched for a solution that would still satisfy her need to chew. I found this chewable gem necklace and decided to give it a try, I ordered from Amazon and had it shipped Prime overnight to the beach house we were renting. It arrived the next day and she loved the pretty pink color and the fact that she can wear it as a necklace, it looks like a long pendant instead of a chew toy. She wore it for the rest of the vacation and she was very happy chewing on it instead of her clothes and her hair. The only drawback we found was that it sometimes makes an odd squeaking sound when she bites it.

Got this for my 6 year old. She really likes and so far this is the only one she'd use at school. Teacher has said it helps her focus. Only complaints are that this particular one squeaks when chewed on and the necklace closure comes apart a bit too easily. It is usually unattached when I see her using it. Other kids have asked her what it is (I'm scared of teasing) but with her sense of humor, she just told them it was a dog chew toy and she liked it, laughing. The other kids laughed too and never bothered her about it!

bigger than expected but definitely the best texture of all the ones I've tried so far. side note, this will set off the TSA metal detectors and you probably will have to get patted down soooo make sure you take it off before flying

Throughout kindergarten and first grade, my daughter would bite on her lower lip during school from sensory overload, resulting in really bad skin chapping on her lip. This year, after her lip healing up all summer long (yay, working sensory diets!) I decided on a whim to purchase this necklace when school was starting up again. I thought I'd send her to school with it and see what happened. In the first three days of school, she chew through it. So. Obviously this product is AWESOME because IT WORKS and my daughter's lip is healed and clean and no chapped skin!! ARK products are amazing!! But, I am leaving a three star review here for other mamas to let you know if you've got a worried mini, get a stronger level necklace :) I will definitely be buying more. This is such a great company.

My five year old daughter is a chewer. Toys, paper etc. Lately she has been better since she has started to gain awareness of keeping things nice however her sensory perception causes her to chew when she doesn't realize it. Therefor we had a talk about only chewing on her new special necklace and she has done quite well with not chewing anything other then the necklace, food etc. I do have to remind her sometimes. She also hums sometimes while chewing(especially when eating) and is very sensitive eating to foods. I am glad we could find something for her that allows her to release her sensory anxieties without chewing everything in the house. She bites very hard and has not even made a scratch on it yet. Great for my SPD kiddo! We tried the robot and she chomped a hole in it--minute 1. LOL! Because I don't ever want her to feel different, I bought 1 for each of my 3 kiddos and they think they are Power Ranger "Energems". Each kiddo has one in a different color and they chew the daylights out of them. They've had them for several months--no structural issues. I like the quick release string clasp. I sanitize them, frequently. Great investment for our gum-free household.

2nd one I've purchased for my mum who has dementia and wants to suck her finger all the time. Using this product instead protects her skin; it does the job perfectly. and it arrived promptly too.

My kid has Autism and she was always chewing her fingers when doing concentration tasks, since I bought this she’s putting the chewing necklace in her mouth and chews, she loves the diamond design and the colour.It’s nice that they have a lot of different shapes and textures but I rather find it a bit expensive - that’s the 4 star explanation - even though it’s a hard and soft at the same time kind of material.The cord is sizeable to your licking and you can put it under your clothes as it’s not too big.I would recommend it for any kids that are chewers, not only autism kids, but every kids out there.
