Not really "as advertised"
There is NO way this is a shoulder bag. Straps rise about 5" above bag. They are pictured as much longer, I wonder if the picture is of a larger version. Also it is NOT canvas, it is a quilted shiny fabric.That being said, it is a good small tote. It meets my needs. Just enough to carry a tablet, phone and a snack bar when I go to work or plan to be in a waiting room for a while.

it's been good, it is taller than it is wide
Bought to replace similar bag that I have carried everyday for 10 years, so this purchase had to be right. In general, it's been good, it is taller than it is wide; can't put legal size folders/documents in it side ways. Other than that, it has worked well. Some reviewers said it had a chemical odor; I don't know what they are talking about. It smells fine.

Simple.
I’m planning on using this for my work bag. I wish the straps were a little bigger, so you could fit it around your shoulders nicely. Other than that soft material, snap button to keep it closed two thin pockets inside. Overall I like it and I’m happy with my purchase.

Decent quality, it’s just what I was looking for to use as a lunch bag for work. I purchased the medium size in black.. I would have given it 5 stars if the straps were longer.

When I received the item it was t shtick expected. I ordered a canvas bag and the one I received was a cheap soft leather . I called Amazon and after a prolonged search, the rep said that the bag I received matched the lemon number. She added that she could not send me the correct bag because IT DIDNT exist. So I had to send back the unordered bag at my expense.

Quilted nylon. Not canvas.
It is not canvas but quilted nylon. It's nice, sturdy, and the size is nice but not large. Good bag for everyday use. Not a travel bag unless you pack it for using after arrival to destination.
