Dove Dry Serum Powder Finish Antiperspirant Deodorant 1.7 oz

I've been using this antiperspirant for almost a year now and won't use any other brand. In that time, the price has dropped by 50% (still higher than other choices) but I was willing to pay that much because it worked so well. Equally important to how well it works is that the scent is so light and delicate.If you apply it to damp underarms right out of the shower, it is easier to apply and you use less. One container lasts me about 4 months.Original Review:Amount in container: As usual, the container is designed to conceal how much is inside. I did five complete revolutions before product rose to the top. Brand new, at least 1/3 of the container is empty.Scent: Lovely, natural soft powder scent that is imperceptible to others and fades after a few hours so that it doesn't interfere with your sleep.Dry Time: I spread it on the back of my hand to test. It is not as slick as a serum but has the body of a light face lotion. When it hadn't dried in 30 seconds, I rubbed it in and it dried to a soft (not powdery) matte finish within a minute. My skin was softer than adjacent skin without the antiperspirant.Ease of use: The container has little notches every quarter turn or so and I only need two notches to have enough.Staining: Left no residue on clothing.Longevity per use: I can go two days doing yard work without triggering any odor or wetness when using this. Might not last so long in the dead of summer but it's working great in the early spring. Addendum: It hit it's limit after going two days without bathing doing heavy lifting in hot weather.Ease of removal: Washes off easily, unlike clinical strength antiperspirants that require Lava soap.Safety: Main ingredient is Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex GLY (12.9 %), if that is important to you. The Cancer Society states "There are no strong epidemiologic studies in the medical literature that link breast cancer risk and antiperspirant use, and very little scientific evidence to support this claim." Dove also sells 0% aluminum deodorant that is cheaper and has good reviews.As an alternative, I tried the much cheaper, better reviewed and award winning (Allure) Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant Deodorant, Cool Essentials. I don't particularly care for the smell and,12 hours after putting it on, I could still smell it. The smell woke me up repeatedly last night. I also don't like how it feels (slick) and it doesn't absorb or dry the way the serum does. Worst of all, it definitely quit working after 24 hours.

There's absolutely nothing about this product I don't like I love the smell of baby powder love the fact that it last 48 hours and it really does make my underarms smooth as a baby's bottom and above that I stay dry all day and I don't get funky I mean hey it happens to Pretty Girls to I've been searching for a deodorant that actually works for years I've tried several of the products of dove only two have successfully worked this is by far my favorite not only that I had also been searching for something for my daughter unfortunately we can't used most scented products other than baby powder yes the deodorant is a little high because one thing is $7 but worth it it actually works I certainly will be buying more in the very near future

My favorite antiperspirant! Smells good, goes on invisible and dries immediately, works really well and lasts throughout the day. I will keep buying this!

I hate the smell of this product, but it currently only comes in Jasmine, Rose, and Powder Fresh. Jasmine is WAY too strong. Powder is tolerable. The only reason I continue to use the product is that this is the only deodorant I have ever used that doesn't leave marks on your clothes.I have multiple tops that no matter how long you allow your deodorant to dry, if you touch your blouse to the product, you will have a mark. I have a couple tops that will develop water stains if I try to remove them using the sponge method. This product doesn't, even on my most sensitive garments! I wish they would make a non-scented one, though.The product doesn't last a full day for me, but gets me through a full work day. If you sweat a lot, you might want to keep an extra one in your bag for midday applications.

This deodorant/anti-perspirant works so well and keeps me dry and I don't have sticky underarms at the end of the day, like all the others I've tried. Definitely worth the extra cost to get a good product.

While this does not prevent wetness for me, I love how it has transformed my underarms from chicken skin to regular skin and reduced darkness.

Love the scent (not too strong) and it's long lasting

I like this formula it goes on and feels like powder.The twist thing to dispense the product takes quite a few turns to get product to use and the bottle is small.
