Great addition to the medical kit!
High quality item for expanding the medical kit. Good value for the money. It’s one of those things I hope I never need to use, but am glad I have it just in case.

Luckily I’ve never had to use them for an emergency
I open one package to see how they worked and check their construction. They seem to be good quality. The packaging is tough and won’t bust open easily.

The item was delivered on time and I hope I never need to use it. Great to have, a life saver !
There are extreme items every first aid kit could have in my novice opinion . Having an item readily available could save someone's life. Ensure you have the right to purchase and if necessary are certified in the use according to your state's laws.

A Must-Have For GSW / Blow-Out Kits
An inexpensive but effective vented chest seal. Multiple vents accommodate both pneumothoraxes as well as hemothoraxes. Always keep at least 2 on-hand!

Nice to have
I live in a very dangerous country, buyed these to have in my emergency kit in case something happens. I can't speak about the quality but they seem well made. Hope I'll never have to use it, but I feel more prepared and ready in case someday something happens.

For sucking chest wounds
This review is for a set of three chest seal vented adhesive dressings. If someone is shot or stabbed in the chest, it is common for air (or blood) to get in-between the lung and chest wall. A vented chest seal can prevent this from getting worse. It does not solve the problem, but may keep it from getting worse until EMS can get there and decompress the chest. Often you do need two, especially for a gun shot wound, as you have an entry and exit. A package of 3 is the perfect number, it is very possible to have someone stabbed in the chest 3 times, or a gun shot which needs two. I keep these in an emergency kit along with a tourniquet and few other emergency supplies, they are not in my main first aid kit as these are special use for a very specific use. It is also possible to make these using plastic and tape, but time is important in these situations, and a rip open and apply is much faster than trying to make your own.I hope I never have to use these, but being prepared is better than not being prepared. If you do get these and do not know how to use them, there are plenty of videos on line about how to apply them. Since they are very time sensitive you do not want to be reading the instructions for the first time when someone needs them. Good product, expiration on mine is 6/26.
