Futsolo Sidekick Soccer Training Ball

This is an awesome tool for soccer practice! My daughter had difficulty getting each specific type of kick to come back to where it was supposed to come, but she will get there as her kicking becomes more accurate and a little bit more firm. I was able to put the ball exactly where it was supposed to go and it was a blast!

Just a background. I have coached high level comp soccer for over a decade. I purchased this ball to help develop some of the younger player (8 to 12 years old). This ball is no better than a basic rebounding ball. The cord is very cumbersome even if you flick it out of the way just before striking it. When set and the lower colors it really tangles on itself. The speed and angle at which the ball returns is no where near live situation. The only good thing I found was for the keepers. But even with that it only helps with the actual catching the ball not reactions.I had high hopes for this but it did not perform as they advertise.

Our daughter is a U15 club player and I was getting sick of SOCCER balls all over the the house.. bouncing into things etc. She uses this all the time and I do not have to worry about lamps and plants!

Size is everything! When you learn there are 2 sizes AFTER you get it is bad business. Our child uses a size 5. We got a size 4 without a choice. Please have a selection option.

Please state ball size in the ad. I thought it would be a size 5 and to my surprise it was a size 4. Set up for a refund and another ball was sent. A size 4. My grandson is a avid soccer player and plays with a size 5 ball. We spent money on this and are not happy with the size. Once again, please state size of the ball so a person can make a choice whether to purchase or look for another.

This has been great for my skills training. Especially when I don't have someone when I need them to practice with. I really do love it. I even use it inside (I hold more of the cord in my hand so it doesn't go as far). I would have given it 5 stars but the first time I used it, the grass was wet and the bungie cord got wet and the blue dye got all over my shoes, legs, shorts. Luckily my shoes and shorts were blue. I hope it is done bleeding but I bet not.

My kids love this ball. They can train in the basement during the winter. It is a little tricky to use but they are getting the hang of it. Worth the money for us.

Great idea and a great trainer, but I was disappointed when we opened the package. When I opened the Amazon box the soccer ball was deflated and loose in the box. (No packaging from seller) I bought this as a give for my sons friend and I was embarrassed giving him this ball. Kind of unimpressive as a gift. Maybe include a DVD training with this ball?
