Perfect Tool Set for Outdoor Tasks – Highly Recommended!
This is my second purchase of the Bahco LAP-KNIFE set, and I couldn’t be more pleased. The folding saw is incredibly sharp and sturdy, making cutting through wood a breeze. The multi-purpose knife is just as reliable with a comfortable grip and great versatility. I’ve used this set on several camping trips and outdoor projects, and it has never let me down. The safety lock on the saw is a great feature, and both tools are easy to carry. If you need a dependable set for outdoor work, this is the one!

Two well-made tools for a great price
I just got back from a 3-hour hike, carrying this saw attached to my pack and using a walking stick I grabbed and made when I started. The stick is maybe 1.75" in diameter on average, fresh off a recently felled tree and still green, and this saw ate through it and the numerous offshooting twigs quite easily. Seems to work pretty well - solid, decently light, easy to use, and effective. I personally like the green because it won't stand out, but if you would be setting it down and don't want to lose track of it, it is pretty easy to get a small length of orange or red paracord and make a new lanyard (or put some red duct tape on it). By looking at it, it also looks easy to replace the blade. As others have mentioned, the knife is a stenciled Mora. It's actually the first Mora I've owned, and I haven't used it a whole lot, but it did a moderately clean slow cut through an 8.5x11" paper right out of the box - most knives won't even get through one at first. No burrs or waves on the edge, and after a little fine sharpening it is hair-shaving sharp. The spine on mine is not finished and is somewhat rough, but it isn't going to cut you and five minutes with a grinding wheel and a file will fix it if it's a problem. I do not like the massive handle, but I tested it by soaking my hand and using it and it never slipped a bit, so it is at least well-textured.

Used and Tested... Must Have!
So this was one of the first items purchased for my survival bag about 1.5 years ago. I'm very happy with the quality and performance of both items. Since the purchase, I have been on 2 4-day survival trips and over 10 camping outings since. On to the products...Laplander - This item was used on my survival trips to saw down standing dead trees and processing them for shelter materials. Saw was easily used over 200 times during that span. Still saws like butter. Technique seems to help with longevity. As with any saw, let the teeth do the work and ease up on downward pressure. I have not had any lock issues as others have wrote. The handle is long enough and comfortable (I wear a L-size glove). Would definitely buy again due to the great value!Bahco Mora - Pretty sure this is the old Mora Clipper. The edge was very sharp out of the box. I used this to baton with for 3 trips, then transitioned it to my bush food prep knife. Even after several hours of batoning hardwood, still cuts meats and veggies like a pro. Just be sure to also use a wedge when batoning. Handle is comfortable for my size hands Only issue is that the edge did chip in two very small spots near the curve of the edge. More than likely it was my fault. Still slices like a razor!I still have the utmost confidence in these two items and this deal is amazing. Belongs in every prep, bugout, survival, hiking, and camping sack.

Outdoorsman's Dream Duo
I was first introduced to the Bahco Laplander by Wranglerstar on his YouTube channel. He always seemed to have it stowed in his back pocket when needed. The idea was always put on the back burner because I usually carry a hatchet or tomahawk with me when I'm out in the woods. I finally decided to take the plunge and buy one, and for about $8 more you can get a nice (Mora) knife.Laplander Saw:This is a pocket saw. No it won't fell anything large, but for basic work around the farm or on the trail it is gold. The saw's handle is black plastic with an OD green overmold that feels like Santoprene. It is slightly grippy, bit not quishy or sticky. It has a gentle downward curve that helps to keep the blade in contact with the cutting material on the pull stroke. I learned this from the curved blade on my pole saw. There is a push button lock that must be depressed to open and close the blade. From what i can see, it is a small button lock. It doesn't serve much structural purpose, so don't doing any spine whacks a la Cold Steel. It does keep the blade in the position you want it, when you want it there. It also comes with a leather lanyard. The lanyard hole is large enough to accept paracord if you see fit.The blade has aggressive teeth from the tip to the handle, to give the most cutting power for the length. The blade stock is very thin, but is strong enough for any normal use. The teeth are set outwards to make it the widest part of the blade. Great for less friction and binding. It has a thick black powdercoat that will is robust, but like any finish on hard use tools (i.e. Becker and RAT knives) it wont last forever. After about 30 min of continuous use, the outside edges of the teeth have worn to bare metal, and the blade has a noticeably shinier appearance. Again to be expected.Knife:If you don't have a Mora knife, get one. Buy this, and you'll have one. From all appearances and research they seem to be made by Mora Kniv of Sweden. The balde has not Mora stamp, but is a dead ringer for the companion or older clipper. The blade is stainless steel (possibly 14C28N) with a slight drop point and a finish between satin and mirror polish. If this is your first Mora, it comes with a Scandinavian grind. This is a very popular grind that offers good cutting performance with a bevel that reaches full stock thickness 1/4 way up the blade. Scandi grinds are easy to sharpen too. Lay the entire bevel on the stone and push. It's much easier than trying to maintain a steady angle on a smaller secondary bevel on other grinds. The handle has a matching OD green plastic base material with black santoprene overmold. You are not likely to find any hot spots after hard use with the gentle curve and slight palm swell of the handle. Mora has ergonomics figured out with these handles. The sheath is OD green plastic. If you own a Mora, you will be very familiar with this design. If this is your first, the stock Mora sheaths do one thing; hold the knife. There is no pocket for a sharpening stone or slots for lashing it to your pack. The knife is held in place by plastic ribs inside the sheath. A drain hole is present on the bottom in case of rain or submersion. The belt clip will accept belts up to 1.5". There are hooks that keep it from pulling up when you draw the knife. There are also cutouts for installing a belt dangler or hanging on suspender buttons. Last but not lest, there is a thumb shelf to assist in popping the knife out of the plastic ribs.Overall, whether you are a seasoned outdoorsman or a novice, this duo will place give you two excellent and indispensable in your kit for under $30.Would highly recommend.

Really great knife and saw.
Both saw and knife are amazing. The knife is basically a Morakniv model with Bahco branding. Came shave sharp out of the box!

Great tools for a great price
What a great combination of tools! The knife is very much like a Morakniv companion with a very comfortable to use handle, the saw blade is tough and the handle is very ergonomic . If you are looking for a light weight combination of outdoor tools for a exceptionally good price, you would be hard pressed to find better.
