Well written book with great story inside
I have followed Bisping's career in ufc to some extent. This book has so much back story that I had no idea of before. Quitters Never Win made me appreciate Mr. Bisping a lot more. Very well written and enjoyable to read. I especially liked the touch of UK lingo in the book(great homage for Bisping's UK roots. Good also for casual reading in small chunks as there is so many small stories you can spend 15-60 minutes on and get a kick out of it and then continue reading more next day.

Great Book!
I've always been a big fan of Michael Bisping and this book 100% delivers. He is open, honest, candid, and funny! It's a great memoir of a guy who maybe wasn't the most physically talented, but never gave up and eventually became the UFC Middleweight champion.

On the fence? Jump in - this book is great
The takeaways - what you need to know:*Great book with EXCELLENT story telling*Hard to put down*Easy read*Absolutely fun for any MMA fan*Great for autobiography enthusiastsI was never really a Michael Bisping fan. I liked some things about his persona - well, liked and found annoying, but reading this book has made me a fan of the fighter and the man (he's a really great guy)The story telling is compelling and genuine - and every paragraph I could hear in Bisping's voice. Great story telling and great insights into some major players in the UFC - Dana White comes across as a truly good dude. It's a great telling of Michael Bisping's story - respectfully, genuinely and humorously told by the man himself. If you're an MMA fan, familiar with Bisping or even if you just like reading autobiographies -- this book is great!

Bisping is a legend!
Excellent book to read. I enjoyed getting a glimpse of the legend's personal life and dedication to the sport. To understand his struggles and turmoil his gut wrenching. Readers get to see the softer side with his love for his wife and children. I highly recommend this book.

Great read!
Excellent book! I’ve watched all of the fights Bisping had in the UFC and it’s great to read his personal insights into his accomplishments as well as his setbacks. His little digs at Rockhold throughout the book were hilarious! Unofficial Strikeforce Middleweight champ lol

A true legend
I will admit it I am a huge Michael Bisping fan, who had been following his career from the time he was just a UFC prospect right to the end. I am so happy with what he achieved and earned the respect her deserved. Michael would probably hate me saying this but his life is like a real life Rocky story. The book is amazing. I did not want to put it down at all. Michael honest about his past, mistakes and learning experiences as well. The fights are like a show of adrenaline. Reading through them as a blow by blow account made me feel I was right there. This is what I love about autobiographies, when it comes to fight especially, you only get the emotions the person of what the person is feeling at that moment from the person who was there. It is a testament to the writing the it was translated so well on paper. Also I can his post fight career as a fight analyst in describing the fights, training, and his real life as well. One of the things that I relived through this book is I know exactly how hard it was too get training at this time period. People did not know about strength and conditioning, except people at the elite level of trainers and in this country even many of them were just scratching the surface. So a new sport like MMA was probobly while having the Scarlet Letters on you. I grew up being told I was not a real athlete (despite destroying everyone i knew on strength and conditioning exercises), as I was no good at football or cricket. It was not till I found martial arts (kickboxing specifically), that I myself (first) and people changed their opinion. To this day the lessions I learned in Martial arts are still paying dividends in every aspect of my life. The book is amazingly detailed, cheekily funny. Dispite living in America the last few years Michael definitely has not lost his British sense of humour. It is a thank you to the people he helped him achieve is dream from fans, friends and of course family. However the biggest factor is hardwork. Michael took his opportunities but it was his hard work that made them and him a success. Another important from the book is knowing when to walk away. This is especially hard for fighters. There is is Martial arts quote sixtimes down seven times up. Michael is the epitome of this just look at his UFC career. As stated he holds the record of being knocked down in six fight only to come back to win them. The book also show the difference of Michael Bisping the character (promoting and selling fight), and the real person. More or less the same person, just one is slightly more exaggerated and animated. The mark of a great autobiography is if I feel I am a bigger fan of the writer after I have finished it that is definitely the case here. Awsome book.

What a bloke
Being an avid Bisping fan and long time fan of all things mma, I have read many books on the sport, most recently alex Gustaffsons, and despite knowing most of michaels stories from his podcasts etc this book is so brilliantly written and insightful, I couldnt put it down, i usually pick a book up read for a bit and pick back up on a later date, not this one, I flew through it. Its funny, uplifting and relatable (i suffer with a similar eye problem as him and got rejected by the army because of it) I strongly recommend this book to all. These kind of athletes are a rare breed.

British MMA at its finest!
Like many others, I became a fan of Bisping during his introduction on TUF. It was great to read about his story up until that point (I never knew he went to prison!).In addition, it was great to get an insight into events like UFC 100 and his thought process around each fight. Mike will always be a legend of the sport and has paved the way for future British talent with blood, sweat and tears (literally).Great book from a great man.

Legend of the sport
A true insight into the life of a professional mma fighter. He carried the UK on his back his whole career and fought with injuries that most fighters wouldn't have even. Thought about stepping into the octagon to fight for his family 1st legacy 2nd. Wish him every success in everything he does next as he deserves it.

Excellent read - 100% recommended.
I have follow Bisping since his TUF days and have been lucky enough to see him fight on a number of occasions at UFC events. This book gives an insight to the man, his motivation and the challenges he faced over the course of his fighting career. I found the issues he had with his gym in Liverpool particular interesting along with the accounts of his eye injuries.I could not put this book down - it is both well written and easy to read.If you are a fan of MMA, then you will love this book.PS - apparently he doesn’t like Luke Rockhold; who knew??? ;)

A great book that has me hooked on reading again!
This book is a fantastic insight into the life of Michael, it gave me a new level of appreciation of what he's gone through to get to where he is and like him even more. Not only that, but the book has me hooked on reading other auto-biographies in similar sporting genres - something I've not made the time to do recreationally in well over 5 years! If you're a fan of sports, boxing, MMA then this book is a must-have.

Exactly what an autobiography should be!
Michael Bisping has a great story to tell. The book is well written and feels thought out, not a cheap money grab like a lot of celeb autobiographies. The narrative is witty, honest and inspiring. It really feels like Michaels words (even though there is a ghost writer). This will definitely appeal mostly to the MMA fans but I would recommend to anyone. 5 stars!

Best MMA book out there
Fantastic book. A must read for MMA fans. Quitters Never Win is a well written biography with plenty of stories from the emergence of Mixed Marshal Arts in the UK to the heights of the UFC. Bisping's story from everyman to UFC Hall of Famer is full of highs and lows. Bisping's grit and determination despite his many set backs makes for an inspirational read.

Unbelievable read.
All I will say is, I couldn't put it down and took me two days to read. I have never cried with happiness while reading a book but when Rebecca says how about this as the ending of the book I was just so happy for their family.Amazing

Unexpectedly enjoyed reading this book.
I wouldn't have normally purchased this book but because it was on the Kindle daily deal I thought yeah why not.The book was an interesting read, the content flowed, well written and was humorous in parts. It made my time at work go that much quicker for sure.I would have no hesitation in recommending this book to my twin... if I had one.

Struggled putting it down
Even better than I’d anticipated.Mike has been through a rollercoaster of highs and lows throughout his life both inside and outside the cage. This man has not had it easy, and for him to prevail as UFC champ as he has always believed was his destiny, makes for a great read. His heart, sense of humour, character, pride, vulnerability, determination, and self-belief are apparent and refreshing. The book had me smiling, angry, upset, a little anxious(concerning his health issues), laughing and happy.
