flavor could be better, but does a good job keeping you going harder & further. (why i bought it).

I resumed my workout with my trainer after one year break due to the pandemic. I gained weight and lost all my muscle.I started drinking this EXTEND at the beginning of the first session. Started with rowing as the warm-up and then real workout by wearing a mask as it is required by the regulation in my sports club. I HATED the workout with the mask and said to my trainer "this is torture or punishment. I cannot do this". I had to do each set, each workout x 3. I cried. I was out of shape AND had to wear this mask while I was breathing so hard.Somehow I started doing a bit better at the 3rd one of a set. I thought myself "sometimes 3rd one is better than 1st one" . I looked at the clock. It was 30 min after the session started. I started doing better and was not angry at the mask as before. I told my friend about this and said "well. sometimes at 3rd one you are getting used to it, so you feel easier".At the 2nd session, actually the same thing happened. After 30 min, I started feeling better to work out.As you need to wear the mask, bringing the water bottle (I filled Xtend Elite pre) is the KEY that you have an excuse to be able to take off your mask. So I did bring the water bottle and started drinking at the session start.But I thought I was getting used to the workout.Today, Monday, after the four day business trip, I went back to the session with my trainer.I started rowing as a warmup and it killed me. I started being angry again at the mask.I told myself "I will quit this gym if I would need to wear this mask for the workout"I started drinking the EXTEND water for an excuse that I could breathe without the mask.The real workout was so hard and I said to myself "I will quit this gym"Somehow at the 3rd one of some set- I started picking up. I felt better and could start pushing more. I stopped annoying about the mask as before. I looked at the clock. It was 1:35pm. I started drinking the water with Extend right before 1pm when I was walking to the gym as the session start was 1pm.It was not my imagination. It is EXTEND.

Flavor is good. Wish it made me more jittery. I can drink a BANG and have more of a pre workout feel than a bottle of this. I use this for running (before).

I bought this to use to break a fast prior to a strength workout after which I use the XTEND whey protein product. It works OK for that. It makes me a little jittery, more so than I wanted. I will probably use this up and not buy more. I will switch to coffee with heavy cream and some MCT (I do keto). If you want the Red Bull effect prior to your workout, this is it.

I tend to lean toward the school of thought and education that BCAA’s are a waste of money in this form when you have a solid diet. But my wife is over 40 and in phenomenal shape and if this is a placebo that helps, I’m bout it bout it!

Holy cow. Finally a pre workour that actually tasted good 👍

Gives energy but the shakes are to much. Beta Aline is very strong. Maybe try have 1/2 dose to start. I deal with anxiety so any thing that’s spike my nerves make me feel paranoid.
