Beautiful, high quality little bowls!
I love these little bowls. They feel good to hold - smooth and slightly weighty. They are beautiful- the glaze has a subtle eggshell-quality sheen. They come in an artfully designed package ready for gifting and fully recyclable. I bought these to hold individual portions of lotion in my massage therapy practice as a way to mitigate germ transmission. They are so pretty, I will likely order another set for their intended purpose. My order arrived very quickly, to boot. Highly recommend!

Love them...but not for sake or tea
I use these tiny cups for mixing watercolors and just painting in general. I always hand wash, and yes, I've used them for tea but very rarely. Not sure why so many are upset by size. If you see the shape, you should always look into the size. I go to antique stores and look for Japanese Sake /Tea cups on regular, so I was used to the shape and size.jThese are not made in Japan, I think they are made in China, but they are nice and porcelain-like enough to snag my interest, especially since they were much cheaper than ones made in Japan. If I were going to use them regularly for sake or tea, I'd pay more for the Japanese cups. Came quickly, were well packaged, and a nice cup for what it's for or even NOT what it's for :)

Attractive tea cups — sometimes too hot
I just received these tea cups today, having bought them to serve as my first set of tea cups as I transition away from mugs. None of the cups were damaged. They came in a small cardboard box, with the cups separated by cardboard dividers. The lack of cushioning seems negligent — but as I said there was no damage whatsoever, so my concerns were not validated. The white cups themselves are very attractive and minimal, with the company's name tastefully adorning the base. The curvature of the cup makes it slightly difficult to drink from compared to a flat-sided cup, but I think the pretty design is worth sacrificing ergonomics slightly.I made a few batches of pu-erh tea to test the cups out. I brew pu-erh at a high temperature (212°F / 100°C), and noticed immediately upon filling the cup that it became very hot and painful to hold. It cooled with the tea, and was fine to hold after about two minutes. I imagine that this will not be much of a problem with other teas that I brew at lower temperatures.Overall, I am satisfied with this product. For a very reasonable price you can get an attractive and adequate set of simple tea cups. Most of my issues are nitpicks — potentially inadequate packaging, potentially annoying ergonomics, and heat retention — so I knocked it down a star. But they suit my purposes perfectly well.

Cute and Small
Very cute cups, but they are smaller than I had imagined!

Nice item. Well built and pretty.
This is more awesome than I initially expected. I recently got into gong fu style tea brewing. These small volume pots with built in leaf filters make tons of sense. This one will be perfect for more delicate tasting teas. The piece as received is beautiful and the build quality great.

Good value.
I like the cups, but I also found the case unexpectedly useful: I keep my Nespresso capsules in it.Good value for the money.

Very small, but nice design.
This is a very nice set, but super small! It appeared to be larger in the advertisement. It’s more like a ceremonial piece or that for a child to have a “ tea party”. I used it to make my green tea, but had to make almost 3 pots to get what would be like a normal Tea Cup Full.
