not a harris but good for the money
i have a harris in 6-9 inch swivel that i use all the time. this is NOT as nice as my harris but at less then 1/2 the cost it is a good bipod. i bought this bipod because of the reviews and cuz i dont need a 9-13 inch size that often.Champion makes a sturdy, adjustable bipod that holds the rifle in place. looks durable enough that i think it will last. i gave this a 4 star because of the price vs quality. in direct comparison to a harris not counting for price it is a 3 star.what i didnt like was how the legs spring back, in lieu of the notched legs in the harris. makes it more of a nuisance when setting up. this is probably more of a preference then a real negative.also during a day of shooting you should make sure nothing comes loose, especially the pivot. the threads do not seem like they were machined to a tight tolerance. i might deform the threads a bit so there will less of a tendency to loosen up. a little blue locktite on threads with some oil on threads works too. the oil on threads makes locktite easier to break loose.takes more fiddling to attach to the sling mount then a harris.

Surprising quality for the cost
I bought this item thinking that if it was too flimsy for my Savage 110 BP (.338 Lapua Magnum), that I could install it on a less challenging platform. Installation was simple, using a sling swivel mount. This thing is sturdy, period. I don't know how it will hold up under continuous use, but let's face it, at upwards of $4.00 per round, I may never find out. It is certainly heavy-duty enough for you average deer rifle or .308. The four star rating is due to the exposed springs, which I was aware of when I bought it.I may upgrade to an Atlas one day, but I'll install this bi-pod on my .30-06 if I do.Conclusion: Nice bi-pod for a shooter on a budget.

It's as good as a ha@rris
This thing is a clone. It operates as well as the device it copies. Subtly, it lacks the edges and finish of the more expensive version. It is not made in the USA.It is your personal choice to decide if the gigantic increase in cost is worth it to buy the domestic production. I wrestled with that choice and decided that if it was 30% more, I would spend more. But at the more than double the cost, I couldn't justify my unnecessary 'donation.' I can say that this bipod works great and I would buy it- or preferably the American version- again. It is a fantastic and effective design. The rigidity and stability are ideal. Quick attachment and detachment. I have used for several months and it has held up beautifully.

This thing Rocks. Why by a Harris Bipod?
So after gleaning through pages and pages of reviews on "cheap" Chinese made gun accessories, half of which are the Chinese product reps writing "3rd party" reviews on their own project, and the other half are the expensive accesory "3rd party" reviews bashing the Chinese product.....who ARE you going to believe ????......Let me tell you that this think rocks. It is sturdy, installs in 3 seconds, looks cool, pivots, can be used as a car jack or hair comb you name it.....No seriously, save yourself some $. Don't buy "the best" because some retired dude with 30 times your budget did. This bipod can EASILY compete with the harris bipods.I bought it. I love it. I'm glad I did buy it.

Awesome pivot bipod
Pivots just fine. Decent elevation adjustment - don't expect to be able to kneel or sit high and get enough elevation. Great for table-top shooting or prone-position shooting. I've had the same non-pivoting model for 20 years, and finally decided to upgrade to a pivoting version. Why I waited so long, I don't know... get this one, and get your crosshairs truly vertical in almost every situation. Worst case, extend a leg a little if you're on VERY uneven terrain. Great price - same price as the non-pivoting model I bought 20 years ago.

Very practical
Very good bipod for the price. Perfect for the bench and sighting in. I use for groundhogs/coyote also. It's a little short for the sitting position for me( I'm 6ft- but my 5'6" buddy uses fine) but with a little hunching over it gets the job done. Sturdy yet has the ability to allow u to cant the rifle when using on uneven ground. Also it takes only about 10 seconds to remove and put on another gun so I don't need multiple bipods. Overall well pleased.

Not very safe in my opinion...
I purchased this bipod mostly on reviews of others who had did the same but on receiving it and the adapter which was Harris. The bipod would not stay on the adapter. I have not taken it to the range yet for fear of an accident.I don't know if the adapter is fake but paid Harris money for it and it swivels may be it should have been one that didn't, all I know is if you engage the legs a little to fast the whole bipod falls off in your hand are wherever you are at that time if you extend one side will not lock in place like the other side and the rifle is lop-sided seems to be fairly sturdy but with firearms to save a few bucks is not worth a serious accident, Buy at your own risk in my honest opinion.

Nice & Inexpensive
Strapped it on my AR15 and went to town...a couple of hundred rounds later with a big smile as to the function and design. I did have to use an aftermarket barrel rail which I needed any way. Not one I would go to war with but still a solid addition for plinking around with.
