Soft when boiled
We bought these for a Korean dish that was meant to have soft rice cake, so we were a little concerned when they arrived rockhard, but after a quick bit of boiling they reached a great consistency and flavor-wise basically just absorbed the flavor of the sauce.

Yeah they were alright. They took ages to arrive since it came from japan so I understand but I found loads of shops that sell it nearby so, yeah...

Yummy food by hygiene is questionable
The actually food was great but the packaging seemed very unhygienic. It was just in one of those twisty bags you get prawn crackers in (hope that makes sense 😂) and it was quite expensive for such a small bag
