I've bought cheap harborfreight moving blankets before, and these are very similar... Same materials, same feel, not exceptionally thicker, but WOW, the density and weight is much higher. The 6-pack is certainly heavy to lift. These work really well for padding and for acoustic absorption in the higher frequencies. The aroma from the materials was not at all overwhelming, and after hanging them outside over benches and chairs for a day, no unpleasant smell can be detected at all.People, please realize that these are not designed to be industrial grade, rough and tough, for pulling, dragging, yanking, stretching or other physical force, especially around sharp edges. The materials are relatively fragile, designed for static/stationary padding only, and this they do very well, for a great price.

Excellent quality moving blankets, fast shipping, exactly what I was expecting, clean, odor-free.

I am using these blankets for a vocal booth to record voice-overs. They are perfect. We had something of a hiccup in the delivery and the company jumped on the situation and remedied the problem immediately as the professions that they apparently are. I highly recommend this company and their products.

Worth the especially considering the alternative or replacing expensive furnishings. Also it is better than paying an arm and a leg to rent blankets which can be just as costly and usually much thinner and less protective blankets. Searched all options at Uhaul, Home Depot, and Lowe’s before purchasing these online. Helped with 3 different cross country moves for various family members

I know I could have gone a cheaper route, but two blankets stacked on each other already thwarted 2 1-inch hail storms. Happy.

These are high quality, heavy, moving blankets. We like to have a few moving blankets in the back of our cars for the dog and for the occasional furniture find while flea marketing. These blankets are so much heavier than any moving blankets we've had in the past. We recently moved and ended up donating them to our movers as they are too bulky/heavy for our occasional light use.

I used these blankets, folded over, and grommeted (and hung on C-hooks), as additional helps in sound absorbing (along with DIY 3" acoustical panels; "egg crate" acoustic foam panels; and foam corner bass traps). They, along with the aforementioned, have definitely helped to reduce the amount of reverb in my new 9.5 x 11 x 6.3 Voice Over studio.They're definitely more heavy duty than regular moving blankets, which is what I was hoping for.They arrived, very tightly packed in a bundle, and fairly dang heavy. But that only means they're what they were cracked up to be.The ONLY downside I can think of, if I'm going to be picky, is that some of the stitching was inconsistent. But these are moving blankets, not decorations, so my "complaint" should fairly much be ignored.

I got them to use on my walls for my home studio and they work good for this. Also covering a window it blocks out all the light coming it a good things.One we used to fold up and put in our dogs indoor crate and it works good for that too.
