You've likely never read a Bible like this. Amazing.Started reading Genesis last week and could not stop smiling.

This is a beautiful book. Simply the most important thing I can now say I proudly own. The seller could have said new condition, and I would have believed it! Couldn't be happier. God bless.

This is a very nice bible. A good size for reading and carrying. The print is clear and a comfortable size for reading. There are study notes and several beautiful full page, full color icons spaced throughout. Several full color maps at the back and other helps such as prayers and study articles. I am a Catholic convert from the Protestant faith and curious about the difference between the Catholic Bible and the Orthodox Bible. This will be a great help.

This study Bible is an invaluable tool on your spiritual journey, it makes for a great Bible to be your main source for reading and research. Plenty of information to get you going and subjects, saints, and historical context to go out and do more in depth research on your own.My only minor complaint is that the text can be seen through each page onto the next slightly. You see this in many Bible's and if they were to make the pages thick enough this wasn't an issue the book would likely be too thick to be reasonable for most scenarios that involve taking the book with you.

I own more than a dozen Bibles, Orthodox, Eastern Orthodox, and Protestant, but this bible is laid out where the commentary follows along with you as you read. You do not have to read page and then jump to the back of the book for commentary, or notes. The commentary and notes follow along with Yao as you read.I attached a photo of Romans 8 to display the commentary at the lower portion of the page.This is a fantastic study Bible and I can honestly recommend this work to any and all who wish to study the Bible.

This is a beautiful bible filled with icons, nice hard cover. But its not my favorite translation, I think the best translation is the NRSV. So I am constantly comparing this to the NRSV when studying. But the nice thing with this is it offers explainations on some of the more difficult verses, from an Orthodox perspective.

Beautiful edition. The notes are wonderful - they quote often from the fathers of the ancient church and the insights are marvelous and revealing. To someone young in their faith and looking to learn (like me), this bible is a treasure. Many of the notes center around the incarnation and resurrection of Christ. This bible will have you seeing Jesus Christ on every page, in places you would never have expected.
