10-Well Round Plastic Palette W/Cover

Expensive for quality. All plasticHave not used it yet, but will probably keep watercolor paints wet, which is why it was ordered.

Great tin design and latch works nice and easy..My granddaughter loves Hello Kitty.

The only reason I purchased this--since it's more expensive that most--is the lid the comes with it. I thought it would keep paint fresh and not dry, so I could continue the next day or so. But the lid is a CHEAP THIN PLASTIC cover, that usually comes as a wrapping on your package, that you toss away. It's PAPER THIN, NOT air tight. Doesn't even close down on it. Just a paper thin covering. NOT WORTH IT!

Cheap, but was perfect for High school art class!

I wanted a covered palette to keep my paints safe if I need to step away from my art desk and also to keep cats hair from falling in….that stuff gets in everything! The cover just rests on top of the palette, it doesn’t lock in place or anything. That palette is plastic, but I just roughed up the surface with some fine grain sand paper and it helps stop the watercolors from beading up so much.

While I admit that I bought this Jack Richeson palate because of its relatively low price, I am disappointed int the cover that came with it. It has a very cheap feel to it and I believe that it will not last long. I was expecting a cover of a different, more sturdy, kind of plastic, I guess. Also, the cover is hard to get off the palette, so if there is any water left in it, it could easily splash when the lid finally pops off. The palette itself, is wonderful. I like the size of the wells and the fact that there are ten of them. I look forward to mixing my watercolor colors in it.

Just the right size...and, it has a cover!!

The profit margin on this item must be enormous. The lid is flimsy and fits poorly on the palette. It won't last long.
