Answers,only one can hope
If strange things happen to you most of your life, you try to make sense of them. I have gone to bed, woke in the morning, and found strange scars on my body. Perfect quarter inch equilateral triangles, scoop marks on my shins, fine red lines and patterns, none of which are inflamed or tender, are there when I wake. I could not make them when I was awake, not alone if I was sleepwalking. You try to find answers. You read anything by anyone who may have similar experiences. You hope, that you will find someone with the exact scars and has figured out answers for you. Stan Romanek's book shows his scars, possible implants, alien photographs, and information learned through hypnotic regression. Along the way, he meets Lazarus, seemingly a man with government connections and knowledge. Yes, the stories get on the wild side, but over the years I've come in contact with people in the security field and heard some equally bizarre stories. Alien abduction, by its nature, is a bizarre subject. If you wake up with strange marks on your body, you may want to read this book. In my case, the scars were not quite the same. Nothing jarred memories for me, but that's not saying it won't for you.

Not a bad read, but....
I am hestitant to give this as many as 4 stars because I am still undecided about Mr. Romanek's credibility. Specifically with regard to him, not necessarily to alien contact in general, doubts seem hard to put away. My initial inclination was to believe him, particularly because he works with people who, to all appearances, are credible (hypotherapists, investigators etc.). I have to conclude that it is something personal about him that does not engender complete trust.Regarding this book, it should be observed that, for whatever reason, the bulk of the 'answers' he provides to the big questions about extraterrestrial contact come directly echo the revelations already given Dan Burisch. Look up the videos of the latter (check UTube for example, 3 videos). You would have found the same information there first, without ever encountering this book. But you would have missed the review of events in Mr. Romanek's life, and as I said it isn't a bad read, although he must have had considerable help with the dyslexia which he at one time said was severe.

I'm still trying to come to grips with this book
I Have studied a lot of books and spent more hours than I'm willing to admit to studying the UFO phenomenon. I'm not new to the subject. Far from it, I think I was a young boy when I picked up my first book on the subject. That was back in the 1950s sometime. A year or two ago after becoming handicapped, I got a kindle, and began once again to read more on the subject.I must say, that most of those books left me feeling like I had just read a lot of empty often deceptive words. Mostly I was looking for answers, mostly what I got were more questions.Oh sure, I was sure that UFOs were real. I came to believe that our government knows more and is more involved with the whole issue than they would tell us, and I became convinced that there was so much more going on than we would ever know that I was almost ready to give up my search for the truth and just admit that I was an old man who would certainly die before the true nature and scope of the alien involvement with mankind would ever be known, at least, known by me.Then amazon recommended this book to me. I thought, what the heck ,one more book won't break the bank. So I ordered this book. Am I ever glad that I did!Unlike so many other books on the subject this one actually contains what it's title says ANSWERS.Now that I'm done with it I'm still not sure that I am ready for the answers. Many of which are at once interesting, enlightening , comforting, and troubling. If you are like me you will find your mind is at the same time blown, satisfied and perhaps just a little worried. There is no way that I can really explain these seeming contradictions in the short space of a review. You'll just have to pick up this book, read it, suspend disbelief through some of it, and then when your done, take time, lots of time, to mull over the implications of he information you have taken in.
