Will work for now. Lower 1/3 cowitness PA MicroDot
This Riser will work for now, however, I was seeking absolute co-witness. This gives me lower 1/3 cowitness with a Primary Arms micro dot with REMOVABLE base. What that means for a fixed base PA-micro, an aimpoint, trs-25, or anything else I don't know. If you're unsure about what lower 1/3 cowitness and absolute cowitness are, google it. I prefer absolute, see explanation below. This 100% gave me lower 1/3. Which is fine for now but I will be ordering the LOW riser to see if that works. The riser itself seems strong and everything fit as it should. Thumbscrew worked fine. I HAVEN'T shot with it yet. I will update this if anything goes wrong. But if everything stays put, it holds zero, and can go on and off and still hold zero, I will not do an update. You can assume that it is doing (did) those things for me. Hence the 5 stars. Like I said I will be trying the Low riser from UTG but might wait until my low pro gas block goes on and replaces my fixed front site.Short version: lower 1/3 requires you to raise your head slightly to center your dot in the field of view (FOV). This allows for a very open site picture as your rear iron site is not visible and the front site sits at the very bottom of the FOV. But, you sacrifice cheek weld. Absolute cowitness means your rear site, front site, and the red dot all line up in the middle of your FOV thru the red dot site. And you keep a proper cheek weld which I prefer. But your iron sites can clutter up your FOV. Folding sites do away with this issue so in my opinion absolute cowitness (lower riser/site) is better. But if you have a fixed front site you may think otherwise.

A Problem Solver
OK...I don't write reviews, but this little riser solved all my problems and answered my questions. Long story short, I am a new AR15 shooter and so when I have an 'AHA!' moment, it is long sought after. This riser works perfectly with my flat top and BSHNLL TRS25. I first tried a Yankee hill 0.5" rise and it wasn't what I wanted for co-witness. I realized how well made it was and thus figured it to be one of the best. The UTG RS08S3 3 slot riser though is very well made and gave me the correct rise I was looking for. The spring base mounting is pretty slick and makes it easy to slip on. The machining is exceptional and the corners are as crisp as the YHM. I definitely do think this is one of the best values as it was only like 10 bucks, I am gonna order 2 more to use for a scope. You just can't go wrong with this one, just get a proper measurement of your flat top to the level of the buis' you have. I ended up using a yard stick(3ft) to determine a straight line of sight and then measured down to the rail. There are 3 size risers,I believe and they are all about the same price.

Very well built riser and you can't go wrong with UTG
Machining and finish on this riser is top notch. In the hand, it just feels like quality. Sturdy, silent, rock hard mount that will no doubt last longer than I will.

More than acceptable, but not without fault
If you're using this for its intended purpose, its above average, it's a good mount of good quality, and allows for full co-witnessing. It does not have anything but that wingnut to tighten down, so you're most likely only getting it hand tight. I would like to see a proper 1/2" nut on there, in my opinion that would push it to a 5 star mount. This mount has not moved around much, if at all, on any guns I put it on. It's perfectly good to use.Where this thing really shines, at least for me, is aligning handguards PERFECTLY. I put this on ARs as I build them and make sure one end is grabbing the receiver and the other is grabbing the handguard and then tighten the handguard down. For that use, it is a 5 star product. As a general small optic mount, 4 stars.

Great value
This riser is about as good as you can get. Lightweight, yet rock solid and sturdy. The spring loaded screw is a bit trick to get on at first, but fits very well with little to no play. I hand tightened mine, although it has provisions for a screw driver, punch, or Allen wrench to really crank down, or loosen it if need be. I wouldnt crank down on it too hard as I could see it stripping out pretty easily, but that's the name of the game. Perfect co-witness with flip up sights and my feyachi red dot. Nice package, at a very reasonable budget friendly price. Best riser for the money, hands down. Stop looking and buy this one.

I'm glad this is the cheapest riser
I'm glad this is the cheapest riser, because it's it's one of the best. I used it to mount my Bushnell TRS-25.- The riser is well made and finished, lightweight, and rigid.- I really like the spring-loaded Picatinny clamp - a pair of internal springs pushes it outward so it doesn't flop around, so it's very easy to install and remove.- I also like the diamond screw head - not nearly as expensive as a lever-arm quick-detach, but still a solid lock that's finger operable in the field. The diamond shape also lets you see if it starts to loosen. (Mine conveniently tightened so it's perfectly aligned - my OCD will notice if it starts to back off!)- I haven't used thread-lock yet, and I'm not sure I'll need to - it survived a trip to the range with 40 rounds through, stayed nice and tight. .

Works like a charm.
Works well w Bushnell reddot optics on AR 10, 15, or 180 platform upper. I have it on a Wk180-C w no issues.

Léger, solide et facile à retirer
Fait parfaitement le job : léger, solide et facile a retirer ou cas ou. Je les utilise sur un CZ Skorpion EVO 3 : on conserve la visé d'origine grâce à l'ouverture creuser dans le rail..

Solid, good price point.
Awesome mount, co witness with most back up iron sights. Take note there is only 3 notches, I have a larger red dot that overhangs at front and back so not ideal mount for it. I do have a smaller micro T-2 style red dot that fits perfectly.

Product works great so far no problems fastens tight to rail and it is currently mounted on an M14 norinco so the kick is fairly good on the rifle and no problems holding zero also (used with red dot optic).
