Pedigree Meaty Ground Dinner Puppy Complete Chicken & Beef Canned Dog Food 13.2 Ounces (Pack Of 24)

We all know our dogs will eat Pedigree dog food. that was good and my dogs ate all the food. The problem is half the tins cans were smashed in, not sure where that happened, maybe stacked to high in some shipping faucility, or the delivery service was throwing them around.

We needed to get food fast to our foster family for a mother dog that had 9 pups. They loved this and delivery was fast and product perfect for 9 growing fast pups!

This makes my dog itch. She rubs her face on the carpet a lot when she eats Pedigree puppy canned food. (I have never tried the dry.) I was buying wet food because I was having a difficult time giving her dry medicines in powdered form and I didn't want to give her peanut butter or sticky junk all the time. After we finish this off, I will not buy it again. I primarily feed her Taste of the Wild dry food which she thrives on. Pedigree Puppy makes her stools a funny, burnt color, and they smell awful, too. The vet says she is fine to finish it off, due to her minor reaction, so I am counting down the days. She actually prefers Taste of the Wild dry food, which I often keep in an Omega Paw food dispensing toy. When I put down her bowl of Pedigree, she will roll the toy on the floor hoping dry food will come out. Eventually she gives up and eats this... I have the rice/lamb flavor as well as this one.Update: My dog is now coughing a lot, to the point where I have thought, numerous times, that she had something stuck in her throat. Since nothing else she eats has changed, I am to assume that the more of this she eats, the worse she feels. She also has started to refuse to finish her food, and seems more... moody? Her stools are also progressively getting more inconsistent, despite giving her powdered enzymes as usual.I do not want to make it out to seem like I am against Pedigree pet foods, but there is an obvious, negative difference in my dog's health when she eats this.Though I don't have money to waste, I will be discontinuing this food. Bought sense is better than any, they say...

Please DO NOT BUY THIS (at least not at this volume). Unless you're running a dog shelter or are a puppy breeder or have HUGE numbers of puppies at your home.This product gave my puppy diarrhea for over a month.The Veterinarian traced it to this dog food. It takes a long time for a puppy to go through 24 cans of this stuff.In this package of 24 canned goods, some will go bad very quickly (whether you open the cans or not).I found that in some of the cans, the 'food' was dessicated, or in some instances, turned into a slimy sludge (whether as a result of being stored in an Amazon.com warehouse, or due to time, I don't know)Bottom Line: You are better off buying small quantities of this stuff at a local pet food store.

Once again, Amazon has made my shopping convenient with extra value. With winter just around the corner, I will never be without this food.
