Simple to store and assemble. Works very well!
A nice piece of engineering at a reasonable price. Does the job, and makes cutting my wood for my Millscale smoker easy. The "jaws" that hold the log is adjustable, but with a little pressure while putting a log in place I find I do not need to change the adjustment much.

essential for the backyard woodcutter
This product works extremely well. I was a sceptic when I ordered the wood holder but have put it to good use lately with all the post storm clean ups I've been doing. I've never liked cutting up the small diameter material (I don't have a chipper so I burn in the wood stove) - typically I'd pin down on the ground partly over another piece of wood with one foot to keep my blade out of the dirt. Sometimes the smaller pieces would ride up or even kick back at you no matter how careful you were. This holder keeps the material to be cut at a more comfortable level and very stable providing you take the second or two it takes to lock the piece in place in the swingarm teeth. What surprised me the most was how well it holds the larger diameter mini logs also. I find myself piling up similiar diameter pieces and then zipping through them with ease without making any adjustments for diameter then going to the next size range. After using the smart-holder a short time you will get a feel for what sizes will be held securely without having to adjust the swing arm (which is quite simple and not a big deal anyhow). After cutting a "log" down, the last piece in the holder does release quite easily. I like to stack the wood to be cut on top of something close to the level of the jaws and get into a rythm of loading, locking (usually a slight push down) and cutting. I do believe this system to be a much safer and more efficient way of getting this chore done. I wear steel toed boots, protective chaps, helmet (with face shield and hearing protection) which I'd recommend to anyone regardless of how you approach this thankless task. The holder does fold up and transport easily and appears like it will hold up to serious use. This tool in my opinion is well worth the price.

Hello Smart-Holder, Goodbye Back Pain
The Smart-Holder Saw Horse does exactly what you need it to do: hold long logs in place so you can cut them to length. The Smart-Holder is solidly constructed and the set-up literally takes just seconds--you just unfold it, put the support arms in place and tighten two wingnuts to keep them secure. It's best to place the Smart-Holder on a flat, level surface to ensure that the metal teeth can securely sink into the log and keep it parallel to the ground so you can cut it properly. The upper teeth that hold the log in place are adjustable so you can work with large and medium sized logs (haven't tried anything small yet). And since it holds logs at about 2 1/2 feet off the ground you don't have to bend over to cut them--no more back pain. When the job is done, the Smart-Holder folds flat for easy storage. I've used it for a few weeks now and it worked like a charm every time.

Great tool for larger logs
This product does what I want it too and solidly holds rather large logs well for the bucking up process. Not great for smaller logs 2” a 3” in diameter as they don’t engage enough teeth to be super stable. Recommend putting a bag of sand, lead shot, or other heavy item on the base as it really helps with stability and the ability for the saw horse to hold more weight.

better than a saw buck!
This product saves you from having to fasten logs down, as when you use a sawbuck. Also it saves your feet, as you're not as likely to hold a small log down with your foot to cut it. You can cut a lot of wood in a short time with this, especially once you get the hang of using it. Wish I'd seen this years ago. The only down side is once you get over 6-8 inch diameter, you're doing a lot more heavy lifting as opposed to cutting logs on the ground.

One of the best tools i have purchased in a long time
I wish I had seen this tool a long time ago. I am getting older, 78 and it is getting more difficult to cut the small firewood logs without them jumping around. You know, those that are 6" down to the 1" in diameter? Well I bought this Logosol holder thinking it would be a gimmick and not worth the metal it was made from. Boy was I surprised. It is wonderful. It holds to logs in place while cutting. The logs are easy to insert into the holder. It's strong and stays in place and easy to move around. I sure wish I invented it and had my name on the tool. it's great!

Not bad works good
Like it for most of what I cut works well, only issue had with it was when it came was missing one of the wing nuts no big deal had one , also tried to put a log in it when set up wouldn’t work found out why, they assembled the main tower facing the wrong direction. Not a huge problem for me just took it apart and reassembled it correctly works good now, would be a issue for some without skills though, not bad works better than wood saw horses that I have used in the past

Real Time and Back Saver
I was hoping for a good sturdy product, with the realization there may be some things that wouldn't be perfect. I got more than expected. I am a 64 and starting to get arthritis issues in my back. My husband got me an awesome chainsaw for cutting but this year my back starting causing issues from bending over to cut logs on the ground. This Saw-Horse is amazing. Sturdy and not at all tippy (it should be on somewhat of a flat area). It holds a large variety of logs and it holds them tight. Excellent to use by yourself and if you have a helper loading the logs you can get an amazing amount of work done. I love it, my husband loves it. Definitely happy with our purchase
