The Ravens & the Mysterious Town (The Raven Four Book 2) Kindle Edition

I was waiting for this book to come out and I’m a little bummed with it. The first was really good as in the story only left a couple burning questions in my mind. This second book in the series literally left open ends everywhere... and when I feel like I’m getting into the book it ends quickly with barely anything resolved. I wish I could give it a 5 star but it just didn’t do it for me with how short it was especially when changing points of view so often. Not positive if I’ll read the next one when it comes out.

Very disappointed. I was so looking forward to this but it's too short, the guys lost what made them hot in the first book, and Raven just was not as interesting......I don't know this just felt rushed and incomplete and even the phrases used in this book were identical to some of her other books. I'll probably skip the 3rd book...and I'm sad about that, I was really looking forward to this book. I agree with some of the other reviews too, nothing really happened in this book, I feel like I paid for nothing.

I usually don't actually write reviews, but when this popped up as available (when I thought I would be having to wait until July) I was super excited. I scrolled through some of the reviews to get a sneak peek and was worried with all the haters. Of course I bought it anyway, devoured it in a couple of hours and was super happy with the book.It was well written and gave great back ground for what I am sure is going to come in the third book. Yes, it was short, but considering that it wasn't supposed to be out for a few more months, I am assuming it was published sort of more like a Novella. Probably because the same people who left bad reviews on this books were complaining about her taking to long with the second.I love the characters and love the writing style, definitely a must read!

I was so excited when this book finally came out, but I read it in about 2 hours. Once again the book is so short and just left more questions. I find it really disappointing because the story sounds really interesting. The book felt rushed and not complete.

This is not a book I would recommend wish I could get my money back.... A whole lot of words but nothing happened and no new information..Will not be buying any more of her books.

I love this series. This book is well written and moves fast. While memories start to come back nothing really happens in this book but at the same time you get a lot of info. I really hope they stick together the four of them because regardless of what happened when they were little they need each other if they want to get out of that town and raven is a real part of who they are I just hope hey realize it soon. That they can help each other and remember to not focus anger on each other.

I love this series! Its has everything in it from suspense, to mystery and I'm sure they will be some romance in the upcoming books.However, I hate how short the books are. It's like the author is teasing us with breadcrumbs. I just wish there was more to each book. I finished this in an hour.I love how there was more about the characters pasts in this book, even though it was kind of predictable from the start of the story where it was going.

I really enjoyed this story. So much so, that I am super disappointed with how it ended again. I realize it takes a lot of time an effort. I respect that, however I feel like the whole book was the same as the 1st book. It's like I am reading this book an I'm like 6 chapters in and it just stops. Then I get the 2nd book, again it's like I read 3 chapters and it's over. I guess I am just ready read the whole story. I hope more than anything book 3 finishes the story.

Wow could this story become any more farmers and tragic. What these characters are going through. I hope the next book gives them some lightness in their darkest hours. Beautifully written and gripping from start to end. Recommended to anyone who has read book 1.

Grammatical errors and wrong words in the wrong place. First book was very good and had a strong plot that had potential. This book just doesn't have the same flow more a lot of conversation and little action.

I liked the whole idea of the storyline as I did with the first book but I just felt like nothing really happened throughout the book...lots of different things were mentioned but they were left as loose ends when the book ended. I hope the next book ties them all up

I really love the books, refreshing read. My biggest issue is these two books should of been one. No further on in the second book with the story. I do feel it overpriced.

Waste of money

After reading the first book in this series I was definitely looking forward to the second installment. We find out a bit more about the characters, and Ravenlee's possible connection to them. The author teases us with the beginning of a possible romance between them and their "rules" to just stay friends. (Echoes of CL Stones The Academy series) However, for the price of the book, it feels like a letdown. SPOILER ALERT: Ravenlee may see her uncle do something shady, they all have dreams about the past, and the boys pick her up and they go for breakfast. Over breakfast they have a conversation. Theres a few side conversations. Its not even 10 am, and end of book. As much as I'm interested in how the story plays out, It'll probably cost another $25 to get to the end of the day. For me to continue the series (which i do find engaging) I'd like to see either a drastically reduced price or a full length book next.

Honestly the end of the first book made me go nuts because I was so drawn in. Honestly I can't believe I paid $5 for 222 pages. I felt like things were drawn out and really I lost interest. Really disappointed I probably won't buy the third book it's just getting kind of dumb.

I read the first one and was interested enough to read the second book. However, i dont believe i will continue the series. 1. Repeats words such as anomaly way too much. 2. Needs to work on descriptive writing as i dont have an image of the boys. 3. Too much dialogue makes me lose interest and 4. It took 1 hour 30 mins to read so i think its a novella at full book prices - not worth it.

I don't like how much I pay for such a short story. Still really into this, would have preferred the author wait and make it one complete novel. Pre-ordered the third book.

I really liked it it's just a shame they aren't longer and we have to wait ages for the next installment

Can't wait for the third part to release.
