Great Composers Coloring Book (Dover History Coloring Book)

I'm a part of a homeschool group and we study several composers every year. I got this to give the kids a corresponding colouring book. I like that the pages all have a blurb about the composer. This is a great supplement to use for younger children when you study composers.

This book has just enough material on each page to accompany a listening selection. The student can color and read as the listens, and it can accompany another activity. The written material is appropriate for upper elementary, or middle school.

I have enjoyed several of the adult colouring books in this range, and found them all really good, well drawn and with informative captions. This one is no exception. The pictures are good fun to colour and because of the factual captions I feel I'm learning something as well as enjoying the colouring. If you like this sort of thing, this is a really good book.

Even though there is only one picture per composer the pictures are beautiful, rich in details and with a brief description of the composer on the bottom of each page. Great addition to our composers study for a great price!
