Duratrax Bandito SC C2 Mounted Tires SC10 4x4 2 DTXC3702

I've never owned anything with Duratrax written on it. I always thought of them as a more boring Traxxas. I chose these tires because the only on roads I could find were these or the $32 Pro Lines. I have to say though, these are great tires.I have a SC10 RS that I mostly run on road with a little grass and gravel. It has a notoriously squishy suspension and a lot of body roll that made it a problem child. I put on a sway bar kit and stiffer shocks, lowered the ride height and instead of digging in for a turn it just kind of slid the back end out over steering. Not what I wanted. I figured the pin tires it shipped with just weren't up to the task on asphalt so in came the Banditos.The difference is night and day. My truck pushes now with slight power on understeer. It's very controllable and the rear end is stuck like glue. I can turn into my driveway from the street at 40mph and it just sticks it with a little understeer and push. Before these tires it would spin out or power slide.I'm still running stock in the front and I bet if I put another set of these tires on that I will start rolling from their high traction if I turn too fast.One thing I noticed is that I can't put down the power while turning sharply. Instead of doing donuts it just unloads the diff. That's Associated's fault for putting a planetary diff in this though. A tightened down ball diff or locking diff wouldn't have this problem. I am going to put some thicker grease in my diff and see if I can spread the power out more evenly instead of spinning 1 tire.These tires look great, very scale, they drive great, I just wish they were a little cheaper.Ill post an update in a few weeks on how they are wearing.

It would be 5 stars it took nearly a month for me to finally get them. On super smooth concrete these act like any other tire. But once you get onto something with roughness, these things hook up. I spent more time on 2 wheels instead of 4, simply because of how tacky these tires are. Every time i turned. They do not slide like other SCT tires.

These tires stick well on the asphalt and concrete, and do a fair job in the dirt (as long as it's not too loose). And they look great to boot.

Amazing durable. But balloon too easily.

Excellent tires for running on pavement.
