Shorven Nylon Strong Dog Rope Lead Reflective Training Dog Leash with Soft Handle 8-20 FT Long

Really nice heavy lead. Bought the 20’ to walk my 90# dog on the beach. He can run out into the water when I don’t want to get wet. I don’t understand the complaints about dogs chewing through it, I don’t let mine chew on a leash.

So I bought this 20 FT leash because I had a problem with my big dog running around the park and never returning to me. As much as I would love for her to stay in the open field forever, work and life simply won't allow it. Anyway, this leash is NOT something you want to casually use for a walk in the city. What I like to do is walk her with a 6 FT leash, then swap to this 20 FT one once we enter the park. Overall, the product does exactly that. The grip handle is also soft and doesn't hurt my hand.Oh, and one more note: when you're dog is doing his/her business, make sure she doesn't have the accident on the leash (since it's so long and will probably be lying on the ground when you have to pick it up)... Learned that the hard way...

Pros:- seems very durable and should be able to handle my dog's lurching (although I have so far been successful at keeping her under threshold and distant enough from her triggers - trying to work on BAT 2.0 training!). The rope feels like it has a very slight elasticity to it, so that should also help buffer any lurching.- reflective pattern is very visible at night- the soft foam handle seems comfortable if you plan to hold it by hand (I loop it through my belt to ensure no opportunity for a runaway dog, so I ended up just cutting the foam off)Cons: (not really of significance)- heavy and bulky, but that's to be expected for a durable 12(?) mm thick rope at 5 m long- wish there was a 4-6 foot length option for tighter/in-town walks

I love the quality of the rope and the handle on this lunge line.I did give it 4 stars because it fell short with their choice of the lead clip at the end that attaches to the dog's collar. They sadly chose a cheap clip, which defeated the purpose of such a nice rope and handle. I will still use it, but will have to change the clip and hope I can re-sew and re-bind the end the same way as it came because the attachment of the clip looks excellent. I hope the manufacturer will consider a better quality clip. I would gladly pay extra to make the product solid.The shipping did take a while, but I didn't mind the wait, especially if I could have awarded the product five stars instead of four.

I bought the 10ft leash. This reflective leash is perfect as we live near busy intersections where we walk at night. The handle is roomy and comfy for both me and my husband. Our dog is an 85lb pulling dog (pit bull mix). He stopped pulling with this leash. It is great for our daily walks and our weekend hikes and runs. We love that it is light weight, but sturdy and tough.

My golden retriever pulls so much and there’s just no grip besides the handle and I’ve got scrapes and cuts from trying to pull on it. I figured out to tie knots in To get some grip lower down

This leash has a nice handle and the rope feel is nice as well. The diameter is a little larger than I anticipated but not unmanageable. I go the 15 foot one and it has a little more weight to it and when you coil it up in your hand to work a short leash you have a good handful of the leash. It is not a big deal but something to keep in mind. One of our 50 pound Aussies took off during training on a run and when he hit the end of the leash he was quickly"redirected" and the leash held up well. Overall I am satisfied with the leash and will most likely be getting two shorter ones for walking in crowds.

This is a great lead for the occasional puller. My husky does well until he sees a person or another animal, then he pulls. There's a little extra give in the rope so your arm doesn't have to absorb the pulling force.The only thing I would like to see improved is the handle. The soft foam cover is wonderful, but the rope cuts through it. I would recommend placing a small cylinder of hard plastic at each end of the foam to prevent this.

I am using it for my 8 month old pup. It’s comfortable, looks nice as well. Only one thing I would like to request the manufacturer is - put an extra handle if possible, to shorten the leash immediately which can be used instead of tying the leash around your wrist.

Foam padded handle ripped off pretty quick, and the rope frays fairly fast from dragging on the ground. Pretty normal though. Pretty stretchy so the corrections aren't as good as they should be in some cases, but its a long line so thats not much to complain about. All in all, the complaints r minor. Leash was exactly what we wanted and is very strong. Holds our 10 month old dane/mastiff pup with no problem.

The quality is good, but for a long lead its heavy and bulky. I have a reactive dog and having a long lead is so much better, but this one is too heavy and clumsy.

I liked this product , felt durable, joints and clasps are good.. The inside core of the rope just shredded, now it is useless and I am shopping for another.

Took forever to get as came from China. Seems decent enough, strong but handle and snap collar are held together with a plastic cover that will break.
